Your Role

We are looking for a Sales Interior Designer to handle sales enquiry and prepare design proposal for customers’ requirements.

What Will You Do

• To handle sales enquiries from customers.
• Able to manage 2 to 4 projects at one time.
• To understand homeowners’ requirement and prepare for design proposal and mood board.
• To prepare drafting of 2D spatial plan layouts.
• To prepare BQ quotations.
• To communicate effectively with client, vendors to address client's requirements.
• To work with Project Manager to ensure full onsite project completion.
• To coordinate with vendors to ensure the highest quality of onsite work deliveries.
• To accompany client to designated vendors for materials, accessories and furniture selections when needed.
• To coordinate with inhouse drafter and 3D team.
• To source reference material and research to ensure that materials and products are fit for purpose.

What Do We Want

• At least a Diploma or Degree in Interior Design or a design related discipline
• At least 1 year of experience in Interior Design or related field.
• At least 2 years of working experience in HDB or Condo construction.
• Strong knowledge in Space planning, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Having knowledge of AutoCAD will be added advantage.
• Able to demonstrate a basic knowledge of materials and their application.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible in designing, constructing, and delivering assembly machines for clients.
• Collaborate closely with the Project Manager throughout the design and assembly stages of the machines.
• Develop concepts and assembly drawings for automation systems using Autodesk Inventor.
• Design pneumatic schematics for automation systems, including control valves, pneumatic grippers, and cylinders.
• Liaise with Debug and Control Engineers during the machine assembly process.
• Coordinate with suppliers such to integrate systems into Machines.
• Any ad-hoc duty as given

Requirement

• Min Diploma in Computer Science or Engineering
• Experience in manufacturing or automation related industry
• Experience in CAD system such as Inventor and AutoCAD

Job Responsibilities

· Design, review and optimize piping layouts and detailed design to meet engineering and functionality requirement

· Prepare and review piping material specifications for compliance with ASME/Other relevant code requirements

· Coordinate / validate pipe stress analysis (Static and Dynamic Analysis)

· Provide recommendations for modification or validation of piping layouts

· Review / generate piping, support and isometrics drawings

· Review / generate steel structure drawings

· Generate piping/structural material take off list

· Review / generate and optimize facility layout and structural design

· Coordinate / validate design calculations according to project requirements

· Liaise with client, project managers in design works

· Provide value engineering proposals during tender and ongoing projects

· Coordinate and assist the project team regarding on site works

· Ensure site works are according to the design drawings

· Check through drawings and ensure drawings are according to the design calculation

· Prepare As-built drawings/calculation for submissions

Requirements

· Degree in Engineering in relevant MEP (mechanical, electrical and piping/plumping) related discipline.

· Several years of job experience in design & engineering of process plants is preferred.

· Good sketching skills and ability to communicate thoughts and technical ideas concisely

· Good communication skills essential for team-based working.

· Highly motivated, proactive and willing to take on new challenges

· Good time management habits and ability to multi-task

· Analytical problem solving

· Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD (Plant3d , Revit, Advanced Steel would be advantage)

· Coordination and alignment with structural drawings
