THE ROLE:

As a member of the SoC Physical Integration team, you'll interface with various engineering groups, including architecture, design, CAD, software, and product engineering, across various geographies to work towards the physical/electrical verification and tape out of AMD SoC FPGA/ACAP devices. • We seek out for a researcher with a PhD in Physics or similar. In particular the candidate is expected to have a strong back ground in many-body quantum physics with extensive experience in tensor networks and neural network quantum states.
• The researcher will work on developing the numerical approaches and apply them to areas such as quantum thermodynamics, many-body quantum systems out of equilibrium and biology.
• High competence in parallel programming and GPU programming is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Create mixed-signal verification and coverage strategies tailored to complex IC designs, aligning with design architecture and specifications.

Requirements:

• Proficient in analog and mixed-signal circuit design and verification principles.

• Familiarity with verification methodologies and tools including simulators, waveform viewers, automated execution, simulation time optimization, and coverage analysis.
