A postdoctoral research fellow position is available at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD). The research focuses on semantic communications, resource allocation, and edge AI.

Responsibilities

• To work as Process Lead for Oil & Gas Projects and guide a team of 10 to 15 Process
• Engineers to finish the Process design (start from Basic design to Detail Design) of the project.
• Guide Engineers and Designers to execute the Process Engineering of the Project which
• includes PFD, P&ID, MSD, PSD, HAZOP, Pump Head Calculation, Line sizing calculation,
• Heat & Material Balance, SIL Study, Process Line List, Surge Analysis, Process data
• sheets for Equipment’s and Instruments, Heat Transfer Calculation, Instrument Sizing calculation, Process design calculation and reports, vendor document review, MAHM
• Reports, HAZID, ALARP, Performance Standards
• Attend meeting and co-ordinate with client and other discipline and vendors for regular update of the project and clarifications
• Work closely with project Team and BDD for Tender works in preparing technical proposal for submission to client and to lead the technical discussion with client for Tender clarification
• Implement HSE objectives, policy and company HSE procedures within his authority limit.
• To integrate Risk-based thinking and HSE considerations into business decisions, plans and operations with the commitment to eliminate and reduce HSE hazards, aspects, and risks.
• To be proactive in creating a safe working environment for everyone and ensuring that
• HSE in-house rules are observed at all times.
• To consider HSE aspects when planning and carrying out tasks to eliminate and reduce
• HSE hazards, aspects and risks.

Requirements

• Preferably Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering

• Preferably to 15 years in Oil & Gas industry

The Information Systems Technology and Design (ISTD) Pillar invites applications to fill several Tenure Track faculty positions. Appointments will be at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. Highly qualified applicants with a substantial track record of research accomplishments, an active research program, and strong teaching experience may be considered for appointment as Tenured Full Professor.

Faculty duties include teaching subjects at the undergraduate and graduate levels, research, supervision of students, advising undergraduate student projects, and service to the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) and the community. At the start of employment, candidates should hold a Ph.D. in computer science, computer engineering, or a closely related field. Candidates for senior positions must demonstrate the ability to successfully create and manage an independent research program. Mechanical Engineer (Design / Drilling equipment)

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provides engineering support to the facility, vendors, and customers during the repair process to ensure project is completed successfully
• Prepare drawings, information and documentation which meets engineering standards to enable the manufacturing group and other departments to produce and market the Company's product
• Carry out product analysis and work under the guidance of more senior Engineers to meet customers' and/or the industry's needs.
• Evaluate equipment condition and specify remanufacture.
• Work within stated procedures to ensure that design records/controls are maintained.
• Be familiar with company products, design principles, manufacturing techniques and industry standards.
• Interface with other Engineers, vendors, and customers to successfully complete repair, assembly and testing of project equipment

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Mechanical field with minimum 1 to 3 years relevant experience
