Job Responsibility

· Responsible for the lead of the regional design team. This team takes responsibility for leading all the design work for the data centers located in APEC, the team members are based in the APEC area either. Comprehensive management of the design work for all the projects.

· Responsible for the Data Center’s design, especially leading & managing the design of the new hyper-scale data center in APEC. Ensuring that all design/ consultant work performed is in accordance with established practices, procedures & internal technical standards. Being the project design manager, following up on the project schedule and strategy, supporting the project manager to complete the project.

· Responsible for the technical evaluation/support for new site selection in the APEC.

· Responsible for the regional /local procurement technical support. Ensuring that all the technical performance meets the technical requirements of the project and the company’s internal standards specification. Technical support for the cost optimization & control of the project.

· Responsible for leading the research of advanced technology in the data center area, analyzing the possibility of application of the new technology. Developing and revising the internal data center technical standards and applying the standards to each data center.

· Responsible for the Technical support for procurement of the main equipment, ensuring all the equipment’s parameters can satisfy the technical requirements from the company’s internal standards specifications.

· Responsible for technical support to the project execution in APAC.

· Responsible for the technical support of the sales of the data center. Study & analyze the potential customer technical requirements and support the sales to find the customer.

· Assist in the design, implementation, commissioning, and build-out of new facilities; and assist in the operation of the facility as the high-level technical support.

Basic Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in electrical/mechanical.

· 15+ years or longer data center relative working experience as the designer/consultant or the data center owner, understanding the data center’s overall technical requirements and the design process.

· Proven experience in the lead/management of the designer/consultant in the data center field.

· Experience in remote team member management and understanding different cultures. Proven leadership and organizational skills, good communication skills with different backgrounds team members.

· In-depth knowledge of Data Center critical facilities and systems, including IT power systems, utility power systems, mechanical cooling systems, etc.

· Knowledge of international technical standards and practice for data centers; and the data center technology trends and advanced technologies

· Flexibility with different cultures and environments, with team spirits. Fluently speaking, writing & reading in English.

· Ability to prioritize in a complex, fast-paced environment.

· Accept international/local short-term business travel.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience as the design team leader in the data center field, especially for the international data center owner.

· International hyper-scale Data Center engineering experience.

· Degree of Master's or above.

· Experience in site selection of the hyper-scale data center.

· Engineer Certification, or Professional Engineer license.

• Responsible for RTL design, simulation, and verification for ASIC/SoC products.
• Identify internal and external requirements, PPA study, RTL coding, implementation and work closely with backend team.
• Create reusable internal IPs for AI and/or in-memory computing products.
• Handle IP integration and validation and support post-Si testing and validation.

The Assistant Manager, Store Design (Cosmetics) will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of store design strategies and concepts for our cosmetics department. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency, aesthetic appeal, and functionality of all store designs. The Assistant Manager will assist in managing project timelines, budgets, and vendor relationships to ensure successful implementation of store design initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• To lead and develop team members in designing counters and freestanding stores and provide project management and execution support for the brands in APAC and to stand in as a leader.
• Ensure brand’s image is maintained at a consistent level of excellence within guidelines set forth by global team to achieve cohesive effect in terms of architecture, detailing and merchandising layouts.
• Develop designs, technical drawings and specifications to market and chosen shop fitter for every new installation.
• Provide design and project management services to all markets with emphasis in bidding, supervising, and coordinating with various external vendors.
• Partner with local brand managers to ensure best locations within stores; analyze traffic flow to guarantee customer interaction; analyze architectural features; inspect sites to ensure cohesive design and speedy approval process.
• Educate affiliates and distributors to choose locations that best suit the brands’ needs; help affiliates understand technical aspects of store design, (i.e. reading drawings, explaining architectural terminology); educate and check for completeness of project request forms and the overall process.
• Educate and update new & existing shop fitters on new techniques, details, and directions for brands’ store design.
• Collaborate with Indirect Procurement team on cost optimization and price templates.
• Investigate, evaluate, and qualify new shop fitters for future markets and projects as needed.
• Liaise with regional design groups on store appearance; inform all parties involved of any updates and/or revisions to standard details.
• Develop “Punch List” (List of deficiencies) for each installation to ensure the compliance with design set.
• Provide guidance to junior designers or newly joined within the region by induction/orientation and manage circulation list for updating the wider Store Design & Visual Merchandise network and vendors.
• Work closely with Visual Merchandising team and other functions as needed to ensure complete, synergized, and articulated store presentation.

Requirements:

• Degree in Design or Art School education preferred; creative and has formal training in architecture or interior design.
• Minimum 5-6 years of experience in Interior or Architectural detailing and design. Candidates with relevant experience in the beauty and luxury industry will be an added advantage.
• Able to design scaled working construction drawing.
• Experience on CAD programs, and preferably skilled in VectorWorks, Sketchup and Photoshop.
• Understands retail store design aspects, i.e. lighting, furniture design, detailing fixtures, etc. as well as the importance of maintaining consistency.
