On-Set Support

• Experience working on virtual production stages or similar environments.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Producing video news stories - including but not limited to researching, writing, videography & editing - that are published on social media sites, including but not limited to Tiktok, Facebook, Youtube, Instagram as well as SDE platforms like websites and the app.
• Conducting interviews with people of interest, including but not limited to public figures and experts in order to gather content for news stories.
• Organizing and editing news stories to improve the viewing experience, consistency and clarity.
• Conducting research to identify topics of interest to the target audiences.
• Reporting live from location for breaking news stories and developing new leads for stories.
• Transcribing interviews or other recordings in order to make them suitable for online publications like X (formerly known as Twitter) and as Fast Cycle content push.
• Conducting research on topics related to current events or issues that are of interest to the target audience.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor degree or diploma in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, or a related studies.
• At least two years of work experience in digital journalism, news production, or a related role, particularly focused on producing video content for social media platforms.
• Strong ability to research, script, film, and edit news stories for digital and social media channels like TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and specific company platforms.
• Experience conducting interviews with a range of subjects, including public figures and experts, to gather content.
• Ability to respond quickly to breaking news and identify fresh leads to develop compelling stories.

2. Learning and Development Initiatives:

• Innovate and implement engaging learning programmes (e.g. workshops and Brown Bags) that foster skill enhancement and professional growth.
• Evaluate programme success through robust feedback mechanisms and performance metrics.

3. Strategies and Budgeting

• Develop and implement a comprehensive learning and development strategy aligned with the company's vision, mission, and strategic goals.
• Develop and manage the budget for learning and development initiatives and provide insights and recommendations for strategic allocation of resources.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Learning & Development, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of relevant progressive HR experience, with at least three years in a managerial role. Experience in the Media and Entertainment industry or related fields is highly valued.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing competency frameworks and training programmes. Familiarity with the Skills Future Framework for Media industry will be an added advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
• Meticulous, self-driven, able to work independently and as a team.
• Ability to plan, multi-task and manage project and timelines effectively.
