• Program and configure VFD, temperature controller, and other devices
• Managing and organizing the equipment and inventory on the shop floor

Position Overview:

Black Sesame Technologies is seeking a talented and innovative Machine Learning Research Scientist with expertise in software/hardware co-design to drive advancements in autonomous driving technologies. Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth research and analysis of cutting-edge machine learning algorithms, with a primary focus on applications in autonomous driving.
• Monitor and forecast industry trends in AI technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
• Evaluate the computational and memory requirements of various AI models and operators, identifying optimization opportunities.

Qualification/ Requirements:

• Education: Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field with a strong focus on machine learning.
• Experience: Proven experience in developing and analyzing machine learning algorithms.
• Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C++.
• ML Frameworks:Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch, and deploying them on hardware accelerators.
• Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, cross-disciplinary environment.
• Co-Design Expertise: Strong understanding of software/hardware co-design principles and their impact on system performance is highly preferred.

• Support the design, development, configuration, and implementation of mechanical and electronic systems to enhance efficiency, improve yield, and strengthen EO capabilities, from concept to pilot stage.
• Recommend, procure, implement, and optimize mechanical and electronic components as needed.
• Provide timely assistance to OPs teams during process runs, transitioning from the pilot phase to production, and ensure solution documentation is created and maintained accurately.
• Involve in meetings with customers to understand their requirements for new projects.
• Research and develop innovative ideas and concepts to improve the company’s performance and competitiveness in industrial automation.
• Procure or assist in procuring necessary items to facilitate the execution of these duties.

Requirements:

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies, develop design specifications, and support design proposals.
• Create conceptual and detailed designs for automation equipment, including material handling and process automation.
• Produce detailed CAD drawings using Autodesk Inventor or similar software, and release comprehensive design documentation.
• Work with the manufacturing team on Design for Manufacturing (DFM), assembly processes and qualification procedures.
