Job Description:

• Design and project management of mechanical and electrical engineering systems (MVAC, Elect, Lifts, Fire Protection, Plumbing and Sanitary, etc) for building projects in the various sectors such as residential, office, commercial, hospital, institutional, etc. Engineers are expected to carry out design work, attendance at consultants meetings and management of the relevant M&E aspects of the construction activities.

Qualifications:

• Degree holder with min. 5 years’ experience or Diploma holders with 8 years’ experience in design and implementation.
• Able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
• Possess initiative, drive and ability to work independently
• Good interpersonal/communicational skills
• 4.5 days’ work week
• Experience in construction industry would be an added advantage

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate store design and planning projects across Southeast Asia.
• Collaborate with landlords, vendors, and partners to ensure successful project execution.
• Oversee construction to maintain quality standards, timelines, and budgets, aligning with brand guidelines.
• Provide expertise in design, architecture, and engineering specifications for retail environments.

Requirements:

• A degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and architectural software.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing retail store interior design projects, ideally in fashion, watch & jewelry, or FMCG sectors.
• In-house experience with retail brands is essential.
• Strong planning, management, and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for aesthetics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work independently and effectively under pressure.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate office interior design.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Skilled in negotiation and vendor management to secure the best value for materials and services.
• Team-oriented, collaborative, and adaptable with a “can-do” attitude.
