Seeking a full-time Research Assistant to join a team of researchers working to advance visual analytics in computer vision. Successful applicants will contribute to a research project that develops new techniques in image and video analysis.
Candidates should possess a strong interest in learning and researching state-of-the-art computer vision techniques, as well as a strong ability in coding and mathematics.
This position is ideal for individuals interested in pursuing an academically grounded, applied research career.
The candidate will be expected to:
- Understand basic machine learning and AI methodologies
- Code and run computer vision algorithms
- Contribute towards research conceptualization and methodology
- Assist in the preparation of manuscripts and reports for publications
- Collaborate and communicate research updates with both internal and external stakeholders
Skills and qualifications required:
- Obtained a Bachelors degree related to the computer science or mathematics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong programming skills.
- Proficiency with Python
