Position: Core Banking Solution Architect (System Architect)

Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Core Banking Solution Architect with a deep understanding of private banking and extensive knowledge of Temenos architecture. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience in IT architecture, specifically within the financial services sector, and possess strong skills in integration architecture including message streaming and APIs. This role requires the ability to challenge and collaborate with both business and IT teams to design and implement robust solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Architectural Leadership: Lead the design and implementation of core banking solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technology standards.
Private Banking Expertise: Utilize extensive knowledge of private banking operations to drive the development of tailored solutions.
Temenos Architectural Mastery: Leverage strong expertise in Temenos architecture to guide the development and integration of core banking systems.
Integration Architecture: Develop and oversee integration strategies, focusing on message streaming, API design, and data flow between systems.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure successful delivery of solutions.
Solution Challenge: Critically assess and challenge proposed solutions to ensure they meet both business and technical needs.
Technical Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior architects and development teams, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Experience: 15+ years of experience in IT architecture with a focus on financial services, particularly in private banking.
Temenos Expertise: Proven expertise in Temenos architecture and its application within core banking environments.
Integration Skills: Strong understanding of integration architecture, including experience with message streaming, APIs, and related technologies.
Technical Acumen: Ability to critically evaluate and influence technical solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and technical standards.
Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Agile methodologies and working in a Scrum environment.
Knowledge of current trends and best practices in core banking and financial services technology.
Certification in architecture frameworks such as TOGAF is a plus.
