DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Liaise with consultants, clients and subcontractors on the progress of M&E works.

· Management of material, equipment and manpower in his section to ensure proper and economic usage.

· In-charge of receipt, transfer and control of M&E construction materials in designated area.

· Enforce the implementation of occupational health and safety procedures in accordance to Project Safety manual.

· To implement and monitor that the permit to work system is properly followed on site.

· To follow all QA/QC procedures and implement CONQUAS standard for site works on site.

· Prepare daily report for related works,

· To ensure the progress of works is on schedule.

· Supervise and ensure works are in accordance to the contract drawings and specifications.

· Coordinate / prepare technical submissions with suppliers / subcontractors.

· Prepare method statement, shop drawings, CSD drawing, installation / T&C check sheets, work progress report and other relevant documents for M&E related works with project teams.

· To assist in updating site work status report.

· Assist the Project Manager on all M&E matters including preparing M&E Master Construction and T&C Schedule.

· Liaise and work with relevant authorities / subcontractors / clients on shop drawings / equipment submissions, inspections, testing requirements and commissioning.

· Hold technical discussions with various stakeholders to resolve technical / site issues.

· Ad-hoc duties as assigned by Management.

This position is responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations of a modern European restaurant, which include training and developing all kitchen staff and ensuring consistency in work performance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise the function of outlet’s kitchen employees, facilities and costs
• Preparing hot and cold dishes and executing request based on required specifications
• Planning and development of menus and recipes
• Supervising, training and developing sous chefs and below and ensuring consistency in work performance
• Ensure quality control and presentation of food for the brand.
• Supervise and maintain food cost planned
• Work hand in hand with restaurant manager to ensure food quality consistency and achieving sales target
• Any other ad-hoc duties as required

REQUIREMENTS

• Preferably with Food Safety L3 Certificate
• Minimum 5 years of related experience
• Have initiative and is able to lead the kitchen
• Exercise creativity in menu development

Required Skills:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Software Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
• Ability to make practical, functional design decisions without compromising on aesthetics
• Skilled in communicating ideas through various methods, including storytelling, storyboards, and mood boards
• Proficient in typography, iconography, color, space, and texture in design
• Stay up to date with design trends to keep designs fresh and relevant
• Knowledge of front-end/web development technologies such as HTML/HTML5, CSS, SCSS, JavaScript, and Responsive Web Design is a plus
