The Senior Quantity Surveyor is responsible for all cost and contractual issues on Main contract as well as Sub-contracts connected to the project.

A summary of the responsibilities for this position is, and not limited to, as follows:

• Preparation of Monthly Progress claims, variation orders and payments to subcontractors
• Involve in managing and reporting of project budget & cost control
• Responsible in Pre & Post-Contracts administration for both the Main Contract and Subcontracts.
• Monitor all financial aspects of the projects to ensure projects run according to budget
• Liaise and establish rapport with consultants, quantity surveyors, architects, developers and contractors on certification of claims for payment

Skills and Requirements

Responsible to lead a team of M&E personnels.

Acquire approval scope of works and ensuring compliance with regulations and project requirements.

Oversee and manage all aspects of the construction M&E works process.

In-depth understanding of project specifications, technical details and construction drawings.

Monitor and ensure that site progress is in accordance with the master program with no delay in works and proper work sequencing.

Attend site meetings with the client and all sub-contractors to review project progress.

Monitor and report project details including progress, risks and resolve MEP-related issues in a timely manner.

Define clear roles & responsibilities and deliverable requirements in terms of both scope and schedule to all project personnel.

Lead and supervise project personnel on site to ensure construction activities are carry out effectively and timely.

Assist to the Project Director and any other job-related ad hoc duties.

Understand and be competent with professional practice and contract administration processes.

Required language(s): English

At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

• Organizing, attending, and participating in stakeholder meetings.

• Ensuring projects adhere to necessary frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project as required.
• Assessment of project risks and issues and providing solutions wherever applicable.
• Ensure stakeholder views are managed and aligned towards the best solution.
• Facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members.
• Adhere to project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective.

Job Description & Requirements

· Be responsible for managing design team daily operations for projects in charge. Ensure quality and timeliness of design works.

· Communicate closely with in-house China design team and guide them for system design, shop drawing deliveries.

· Attend necessary design meetings to resolve design issues and present design proposals, and write meeting minutes.

· Coordinate with Client, Main Contractor, Architect and Consultants for design & technical concerns.

· Raise RFIs for any design / technical concerns / issues

· Provide technical advice to team and relay the meeting results to China design team.

· Support the project team for any site issues when necessary.

· Manage design changes or additional scope of works.

Requirement:

· Strong technical facade design experience min. 8 years

· Communication skills are a major part of this role as extensive liaison with clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers is necessary to ensure project commitments are met.

· Have a proven record in managing and running major curtain walling and facade projects in ASIA along with a facade design background.

Monday-Friday 9am-6pm,
