Digital Art Director

Responsibilities

• To generate exciting ideas to fulfil clients’ briefs and to engage in executing layout designs for art work and copy
• Independently oversee a project cycle; from conceptual to production
• Meets art department work standards by following production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving operational problems; identifying work process improvements
• Produces illustrative material by assigning layout design concept to artists and photographers; directing development of design concepts into art layouts
• Prepares layouts for printing by marking-up, pasting-up, and finishing layouts
• Have a positive attitude towards collaborating with team members and other stakeholders to participate in pitches
• Competent in bringing the ideas to life visually
• Ensuring a high standard of visual execution across all media and campaigns

Requirements

• Candidates should possess about 3 years of relevant experience with an integrated portfolio
• An excellent team player and to be able to work well with front-end/back-end programmers
• Possess a good eye for craft with the ability to work independently
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Strong production knowledge in TV, Print and Digital

Graphic Designer (Full-Time)

Think Tank Studio is looking for a Graphic Designer with at least 1-2 years experience to conceptualise and create designs for a range of projects and platforms, such as educational print magazines, websites and marketing campaigns.

We're looking for someone with:

• At least 1-2 years of working experience
• Strong understanding of editorial design and grid, design principles, attention to detail and a keen eye for design aesthetics.
• Creative ability to research, conceptualise ideas and develop designs according to a brief
• Aptitude to engage with content and learn to understand context, which is a big part of what we do.
• Effective time management to manage your own time and project schedules.

Core responsibilities

• Lead the illustration and design our educational magazines targeted at youth in Singapore.
• Work closely with the editorial team to develop relevant and engaging layouts to inspire and educate our readers, as well as oversee the production of the print magazine and its digital content.
• Collaborate actively in the conceptualisation, adaptation, visualisation, and execution of campaign-related design projects.
• Ensure the timely delivery of all assigned tasks, maintaining a high standard of professionalism and quality with minimal supervision.
• Foster close collaboration with team members to craft imaginative design solutions.
