The Senior BIM Designer will create and manage digital models of building structures and systems using Building Information Modeling (BIM) software. We are currently representing a highly respected interior design consulting firm, specializing in the creation of customized spaces for commercial, retail, hospitality, and residential purposes in search of a Senior Designers here in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop creative and functional interior design concepts for corporate workspaces

- Collaborate with clients to understand their business goals, brand identity, and company culture

- Create detailed design plans, including space layouts, furniture selections, and material specifications

- Work closely with project managers and construction teams to ensure seamless implementation of designs

- Incorporate digital solutions and cutting-edge technology into workspace designs

- Participate in pre-lease consultations and post-construction evaluations

Key qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field

- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in commercial interior design, preferably with a focus on corporate workspaces

- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite

- Strong understanding of ergonomics, sustainability, and workplace trends

- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Nice to have: experience using BIM/Revit tools

Responsibilities

• Be a great team player, experienced in working with agile teams. Ability to collaborate closely with Developers, Business Analyst and Stakeholders.
• Conduct UX/UI reviews and manage necessary changes with the development team.
• Present and justify your design solutions based on user research with a clear understanding on the overall design roadmap, as well as your own design thinking and fundamental principles (i.e. colour theory, information hierarchy, etc.)
• Educate, plan, support and conduct user research / workshops with Business Analyst to collect qualitative and quantitative feedback from users.
• Create, improve and use hi-fidelity wireframes, prototypes, style guides, user flows, and effectively communicate your interaction ideas using any of these methods.
• Create clean and structured design files for better organisation.
• Manage and improve design components within Design System.
• Continually keep yourself and your design team updated with the latest changes in your industry’s standards.
• Being able to assist in creating / improving communication collaterals occasionally.

Technical

Experience : 5+

• Good understanding of design philosophy and user experience research and design.
• A good communicator and efficient team player.
• Excellent time management skills
• Good proficiency in wireframing / prototyping tools like Sketch and Figma
• Good proficiency in design software like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign

1. Preparation of shop drawings with details drawings to submit for approval
2. Meet clients, developer, architect and main contractor to discuss the details of built-in cabinets
3. Amend based on comments from clients until obtaining the approved shop drawings
4. Do site mesurement and prepare production drawings from the approved drawings
5. Do as built drawings upon completion of projects
6. Able to work independently with AutoCab
7. 2 years experience preferred
