• Participates in JHA and review risk assessment for key critical project activities
• Maintains effective working relationships across Client team, the Seatrium team, Hull contractor and subcontractors
• Prepares and presents Monthly Executive Review which accurately portray project status, issues with mitigation plans, schedule compliance and opportunity in addition to identifying areas that indicate signs of risk to the project’s success
• Pursues and anticipates emergent work items and associated tasking
• Meets daily with the project team, to review open issues, actions required in support of cost and schedule, identifying, and tracking items which may impact cost and or schedule
• Complies and ensures workforce follow closely to Safe Work Procedure (SWP) for all work activities
• Monitors housekeeping standards and assigns areas of responsibilities, Compliance to PPE requirements, safe behavior as appropriate to Seatrium’s Life Saving Rules
• Works with Contractor on areas outside of responsibilities to ensure a safe working environment for all
• Ensures post-mortems and lesson learnt on project are done and to review the achievement of project objectives.
• Practices awareness of the bigger picture while reinforcing the meticulous execution of project specific items.
• Oversees the Hull contract execution through handover to integration yard and closure of shipyard contract.
• Ensures that all Hull project documentation (final as built) is completed

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Naval Architecture / Civil / Marine and Offshore / Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical Engineering/Project Management.
• At least 4 years of relevant working experience.
• Knowledge of Shipyard Operations
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills

Job duties:

• Dealing with qualitative analysis of the jobs-skills insights by validating the findings with relevant industry stakeholders, and work with government entity to tap on its quantitative skills data and advanced skills data analytics to strengthen the validation process.
• Understanding local and overseas industry landscape and market trends impacting jobs-skills contents, and identify industry-recognised skills certification pathways that support formal, non-formal and informal learning related to jobs-skills changes or emerging trends using appropriate methodologies and approaches such as desktop research, one-on-one consultation, focus group, survey etc
• Coordinating with all related stakeholders agency to set up and support a steering committee to govern and drive the implementation of learning & development project
• Performing regular progress tracking and reporting, including interim and post-pilot diagnosis to ascertain the impact and effectiveness of the work carried out under each of the focus areas

Requirements:

• Degree in any engineering related courses
• 6 to 9 years Learning & Development project management experience
• Proficiency in PC skills
