RESPONSIBILITIES

Overview:

In this role, you will be responsible for co-developing, monitoring and evaluation of the strategic initiatives. Working closely with executive leadership, you will analyse trends, opportunities and develop plans to achieve long-term objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of business strategy of our agency, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to execute strategic plans.

As a Strategy Manager you will play a pivotal role in shaping THKMC's future and ensuring its long-term success. Key Responsibilities:

1. Enabling Growth:

• Lead development & execution of THKMC's strategic plans & initiatives to drive growth & enhance competitive advantage.

2. Research:

• Conduct comprehensive Social Service and Community Care (SS&CC) sector research, competitor analysis, and sectoral trend assessments to identify opportunities & threats. Understand how this data could be relevant for THKMC services & operations.

3. Data Analytics:

• Analyse data & perform quantitative analysis to glean insights about THKMC client, caregiver, volunteer & corporate partner populations.
• Use data to understand THKMC positioning in SS&CCA sector & recommend improvements.
• Analyse data (including financial statistics, budgets & forecasts), formulate & test hypotheses, and develop models to quantify feasibility of recommended strategic decisions.
• Identify THKMC strategic initiatives and key performance indicators (KPIs).

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Lead cross-functional teams, internal and external stakeholders to work cohesively towards achieving strategic objectives.

5. Reporting and Communication:

• Track performance of strategic initiatives. Construct & update THKMC Management dashboard for monitoring & reporting KPIs.
• Prepare Strategic Planning and Transformation (SPT) discussion & presentation papers. Partner Secretariat(s) to table SPT presentations & updates of THKMC Management dashboard
• Work with Head (SPRM) to achieve functional objectives & deadlines.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field. Post-graduate degree or professional certification would be a plus.
• Minimum 12 years' experience in management consulting, strategic planning, change management and / or business development, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.

The Operation Manager is required to oversee all operational activities related to warehousing, inventory control, procurement and logistics for supporting the project needs.

Job description:

• Oversee a team in the above activities and

a) Engage with management to obtain business objectives.

b) Set out a clear timeline to restructure to improve efficiencies.

c) Review existing SOPs and check for compliance.

d) Propose new SOPs or improve existing SOPs where required.

e) Set out clear KPIs for team members, monitor performances and provide timely feedback.

• Liaise with subcontractors by ensuring they understand the workflow of the relevant activities and what is required of them.
• Raise the Safety Standards of the Store and Logistics team to have zero work injuries or damages to property.
• Interface and coordinate with Operations from Project Team to support project activities.
• Ensure schedule for materials is planned for each project.
• Procurement to use material schedule to obtain best prices.
• Store supervisor to plan store operations accordingly.
• Conduct spot checks on project sites to evaluate usage of material, identify wastage, improper storage etc.
• Assist in developing and implementing corporate operational policies that support project activities.
• Oversee the effective management of company’s warehouses to assure timely delivery and low wastage.
• Oversee the effective upkeep of company’s equipment and tools to ensure longer lifespan.
• Co-ordination with Accounts Team on billing.
• Liaise with government/Statutory Authorities, consultants, clients, suppliers etc.
• Ensuring Quality Assurance and ISO Standards are met on all construction related activities and ensure customer quality specifications are constantly met.
• Allocate Capital and Human Resources to maximize productivity.
• Drive IT development of software related to warehousing, inventory control, procurement and logistics.

Requirements:

• Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in operations management.
• Proven track record in construction industry especially infrastructure.
• Proven track record in business transformation in warehousing, supply chain management or procurement.
• Strong communicator and experience in leading a team.
• Proven track record in leading culture change.

Job Description:

• Report to the Project Manager, over all in charge of site coordination.
• Lead a team of operation staff in daily operations, manage and oversee the day-to-day construction activities of the project.
• Maintain site access throughout the construction period.
• Planning to prevent the problem on-site before it occurs, planning the delivery and storage of equipment and materials.
• Ensure the progress of work is within budget and timelines as well as quality and safety objectives.
• Control and monitor work progress and resources, monitor and control material wastage.
• Carry out work scheduling, material requisition planning, project coordination, and documentation.
• Responsible for on-site production scheduling and allocation of personnel and labour, arranging materials and mechanical equipment for each phase, directing and organizing solutions to various on-site issues, and handling emergencies and labour disputes at the construction site.
• Responsible for organizing the preparation of construction organization designs, progress plans, safety technical measures, etc., primarily focusing on controlling the overall project timeline.
• Responsible for coordinating the working relationships with company functional departments, subcontractors, material suppliers, etc.
• Responsible for the management, coordination, evaluation, and assessment of the project department staff as per the branch office's requirements.
• Perform any other duties as assigned from Management.

Job Requirement:

• Candidate must pass at least a Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent. Diploma holders or equivalent with relevant experience BSc/BA in Engineering (Civil) or Engineering or relevant field
• 10 years experience in Site Management
• Required language(s): English & Mandarin (to handle queries and feedbacks from English & Mandarin speaking associates, clients and customers)
• Able to work 6 working days on Site.
