Job Responsibilities:

• Create and flesh out volunteer roles for public libraries that align with operational needs, and establish clear responsibilities and expectations of volunteers
• Develop and implement strategies to attract, recruit, and retain volunteers for public library initiatives, focusing on building a reliable and stable pool of regular contributors
• Conduct onsite visits to libraries to assess volunteer operation at branches and identify areas for improvement.
• Review and refine onboarding processes and approaches for all volunteers, both new and experienced
• Implement volunteer orientation programmes, including targeted training sessions, where applicable
• Plan and coordinate volunteer networking sessions to strengthen commitment among volunteers.
• Foster an environment of cooperation among volunteers
