Responsibilities

• Ideate, plan, and manage product development and involve in the end-to-end activities for new products;
• Conduct customer research and competitive analysis to deliver the best product proposition;
• Collaborate with other departments such as Actuarial, Implementation and Pricing team to strategize;
• Conduct product risk assessment and share with the management on the best risk management practices;
• Prepare Product Specification (FactSheet), Product Summary cum Presentation and Policy Contract;
• Work with Business Heads for product approval documentation and business casing within the stipulated timeline;
• Responsible on the communication and drafting of product launch announcements include marketing initiatives, work with agencies and bancassurance to achieve the channel's KPIs;
• Responsible on post product launch monitoring, synthesize customer feedback, findings from user research and other market insights and distill them into the roadmaps and feature lists;

About the Role:

• Manage and support the overall financial reporting and financial closing in compliance with US GAAP, FRS, and Group reporting requirements, and financial analysis for various entities.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Analyze P&L variances month-over-month, perform Balance Sheet reconciliation, and provide advice on appropriate corrective measures and treatment.
• Actively support month-end closing activities to ensure accurate and timely revenue and cost recognition. Review and highlight any variances to the business prior to monthly and annual closing.

About You:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Finance and qualified chartered accountant.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in accounting and audit, including experience in a Big 4 firm and a commercial environment.
• Proficiency and strong understanding of US GAAP and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
• Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley 404 compliance is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
