Assistant Engineer (Project Management )

Summary:

• Equipment set up for various systems, conduct testing & commissioning

• Follow up with clients in a timely manner

• Assist sales team with site survey & system design

The Marketing manager, APAC is a key role in the expansion of the marketing team.  You will play a crucial part in aligning our sales and marketing efforts, improving our lead generation strategies, and contributing to the overall growth and success of our brand in the APAC region.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

Lead regional go-to-market activities

• Lead campaign go-to-market activities in APAC for all Fastmarkets key verticals (Forest Products, Metals and Mining, Agriculture, Carbon) by collaborating with cross-functional teams in sales, marketing, and product to create and execute demand-generation strategies that drive high-quality leads and pipeline growth.
• Drive multi-channel marketing campaigns that increase lead flow to deliver on New Business revenue targets, deepen relationships with existing customers to retain and grow accounts, and build new relationships within existing accounts leveraging account engagement strategies
• Monitor, analyze, and report on performance metrics, hold teams accountable to achieving goals, and provide recommendations for improvement based on data-driven insights.
• Work closely with the APAC sales team to ensure the sales team understands marketing plan and campaign activities impacting lead flow and ensure there is a seamless lead handoff between Sales and Marketing and an ongoing feedback loop
• Oversee the on-site event commercial consideration experience at Fastmarkets branded events, including creating on-site booth strategies, lead generation materials and collaborating with Customer Success and Sales members who will be on site
• Help build best-in-class nurture programs, that include regular a/b test, learn, and optimize approaches for educating higher funnel leads and bringing through to consideration and conversion

1. Branding:

• Collaborate closely with the General Manager to assist in developing the corporate brand strategy, direction, and execution plan.
• Create, manage, and update brand communication guidelines and workflows with the General Manager.
• Lead the execution of the brand communication plan in coordination with relevant stakeholders across divisions, entities, and local countries in the Asia and Oceania region.
• Develop, manage, update and continuously enhance regional branded materials and global assets provided by the Headquarter.

2. External communication: Enhance the brand's positive reputation in the public eye.

• Develop an annual communication plan based on the brand strategy and direction.
• Lead the execution of the communication plan in collaboration with relevant stakeholders across divisions, entities, and local country offices in the Asia and Oceania region.
• Research, propose, and implement innovative communication methods including enhancing the company website, developing regional social media strategies, and utilizing other effective touchpoints as needed.

3. Internal Communication: Enhance employee engagement and workplace experience.

• Develop and execute an internal communication plan, including events, to foster transparency in information and knowledge sharing. This will help employees gain a deeper understanding of company's brand value, business operations, diverse talents, and future opportunities across local and overseas entities in the Asia and Oceania region.

4. Crisis Communication:

• Understand and adhere to crisis procedures as directed and guided by GHQ.
• Provide support to GHQ as needed
• Assist in delivering regional crisis communication guidance and training to employees.

5. Manage relevant outsources and partners:

• Lead and manage outsourced vendors and partners to execute communication plans, ensuring adherence to the schedule and budget.

6. Team management and development

• In collaboration with the General Manager, develop and manage the Corporate Branding and Strategy team, including overseeing resources, budgeting, and other related responsibilities.

Job Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in communication, branding, marketing, or a relevant field.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience.
• Proven leadership abilities with experience in managing teams.
• Experience in the shipping industry.
• Ability to lead development communication planning.
• Competence in delivering presentations.
• Demonstrated creativity and strong project management skills.
