Job Summary

The General Manager is responsible for leading the contract(s) and all employees in the growth and development of additional business opportunities with existing customer. Ensure ongoing customer service and maintaining customer relations by focusing on the contract's daily operations based on the needs of the customer.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

· Day to day administration of contract, including: preparation of customer related performance reports and other correspondence; requests from vendors, general office and contract employees; and all other items that fall within managerial scope of responsibility.

Education And Experience

· Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Logistics, 3PL or Transportation is required.

Assistant Cooks have no specific work experience requirements. However, employers prefer candidates who have worked with a cook or have experience in a kitchen-related role. Applicants who have worked in restaurants, commercial kitchens, catering agencies and hotels are ideal for this role. Candidates can also receive valuable experience through volunteering. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of the protocols and procedures of the food service industry, including health and safety standards. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers and technical staff.

Project Management: Plan, execute, and deliver projects on time and within budget while ensuring quality standards.

Technical Guidance: Provide technical direction and support to team members, helping to resolve complex issues and promoting best practices.

Collaboration: Work closely with vendors, classification society, and other stakeholders to align technical solutions with project objectives.

Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain processes for quality assurance and continuous integration.

Budget Management: Manage technical budgets and resource allocation effectively.

Innovation: Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within the team.

Responsibilities:

· Responsible for preparation and application of the Project Execution Plan.

· Monitor and manage the day-to-day operations of the project/program/term contract, including developing short- and long-term targets, overseeing daily activities, ensuring safety and quality, implementing financial controls, and coordinating reporting with all stakeholders and subcontractors.

· Plan work schedules and efficiently organize project/maintenance activities to meet agreed-upon deadlines.

· Formulate project plans that effectively allocate the resources required by the projects.

· Manage all project risks and resolve technical, contractual and other issues that may rise.

· Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost efficiency.

· Attend regular meetings with clients, consultants, and subcontractors as required to ensure the compliance with the overall project standards, procedures, and requirements.

· Communicate clearly and confidently with senior management, providing solutions and contingencies for any problems encountered.

· Ensure smooth execution of all projects from pre-construction to post-construction stages.

· Ensure the prompt delivery of all project deliverables.

· Regularly inspect the progress of the work on site and provide guidance to the project and construction management teams on best practices and potential efficiencies on scheduling and processes.

· Oversee and support the Construction Management Team to ensure the adequate and timely flow of information, designs, technical data and feedback, to meet the stringent construction schedule requirements on the project.

· Ensure all project activities meet industry standards, building codes, and client specifications.

· Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, codes of practice, and company safety rules and regulations at all times.

· Any other duties assigned by management.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Mechanical or Electrical, Construction Management or equivalent

· At least 5 years of experience in the field of project management

· Strong leadership, team management, organizing and planning skills

· Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.

· Expertise in project management tools and methodologies.

· In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations

· Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
