1. Issue and send Purchase Orders (PO) via email, and track procurement activities.
2. Coordinate with the store to monitor stock inventory and avoid material shortages.
3. Communicate with the plant to fulfill their requirements.
4. Maintain an updated inventory list for current and incoming materials.
5. Liaise with suppliers to schedule deliveries and resolve shortages or missed deliveries.
6. Source materials/parts continuously as required.
7. Perform goods receipt and update systems accordingly.
8. Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and relevant procurement data.
9. Coordinate with forwarders for shipment clearance documentation/permits.
10. Liaise with sales and other departments for new material/part requirements.
11. Negotiate and obtain competitive price quotes from suppliers.
12. Address issues with defective or damaged goods.
13. Perform monthly stock-taking activities.
14. Carry out any other ad hoc duties assigned.

Supplementary Responsibilities:

• Support general administrative tasks and contribute to other functional roles within the company.

Requirements:

Skills/Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of working experience in procurement.
• Strong management skills with the ability to work independently.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Proficiency in English.
• Competent in computer applications.

Education:

• Diploma or degree in purchasing or an equivalent field.
