Job Description

• The Contracts/Commercial Manager is responsible for the overseeing commercial and contractual aspects related to the main contract and subcontracts, managing any commercial and contractual risk relating to the project and employ mitigation actions as quickly and effectively as possible.
• Review external providers (i.e vendors and subcontractors) terms of service and project deliverables.
• Provides contractual advisory from the commercial perspective to the project through all stages: construction, subcontracting, completion and hand-over,Provides support to the Quantity Surveyor
• team in the project, monitoring, reporting, planning and coordinating all aspects of their work.
• Proactively engages in continuous improvement and review of existing processes, systems and policies that may support the project’s contract management and administration.
• Advises on all contractual correspondence related to the project, considering commercial impact Identify, assess and manage / advise on contractual risk
• Manages contractual claims, disputes, settlements and resolution
• Communicates effectively with a wide range of stakeholders both verbally and in written notices eg. extension-of-time (EOT) , change order, etc.
• Possesses knowledge in construction/contract law & different standard forms of contracts eg. PSSCOC, SIA, LTA, REDAS, FIDIC, NEC, etc.
• Possesses leadership skills to manage internal and external stakeholders, thinks strategically and critically, exercising judgement after consideration for all aspects.
• Possesses analytical and problem-solving skills.(Is required to work both in Corporate office and/or at project sites.)

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying / Construction Management / Civil Engineering or related fields
• Minimum 10 years relevant experience in contract negotiation, administration and/or management
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, analytical mindset, problem solving abilities, as well as keen interest and motivation in a high growth and entrepreneur environment
• A high level of integrity, dependability with a strong sense of urgency and result oriented

Responsibilities:

Manages assigned product portfolio and generate new sales to achieve revenue, target and budget.

Maintains professional and technical knowledge of sales product.

Build strategic relationship with product vendors and partners to provide solutions to partners and end users.

Conduct and assess market and competitive analysis to develop efficient business strategy and generate higher Sales Revenue.

Develops product concept and provide a unique value based on the requirements of clients.

Clearly articulate and present the business value of the product to business partners.

Prepare and conduct periodic product updates and enablement for Channel Partners.

Provides Business and Revenue Forecast, including periodic reviews with relevant product vendors on business and sales activities.

Develops marketing strategies or programmes by collaborating with Marketing Team.

Obtains Bill of Material and pricing by working with presales team on product solution.

Facilitates inventory turnover / management / control by reviewing and adjusting inventory levels.

Candidate requirements:

Diploma/Degree with minimum 2 to 5 years of product management experience, preferred from security/electronic/IT industry.

Knowledge and understanding of supply, product and vendor management

Proven contract negotiation skills.

Proficient in Microsoft office applications e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Able to work in a face paced environment.

• Attend site meeting with Developers, Architects, Consultants & Builders
• Coordination with Sub-contractors & Suppliers

Requirements:

• Min. 3 years relevant experience in ACMV
• Diploma and above

• Working Hours: 0830 - 1730 (Mon - Fri) / 0830 - 1230 (Sat)
