• With Class 3 Driving Licence – to drive Volunteers for meetings and errands
• Assist in Temple's and Memorial Hall's daily operations
• Support events organized by the Temple (Vesak, Qing Ming & Ullambana Festival)
• Attend to customers’ enquiries
• Other general / ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Basic Computer Knowledge
• Able to work 6-day’s week (including weekends and public holidays)

Responsibilities

Customer Service

• Providing enquiry service to customers
• Assisting customers in using library services e.g. Library e-kiosk, self- check, multimedia services, library catalogue, online resources & etc.
• Assisting customers in locating library materials
• Providing circulation service to customers
• Handling customer’s feedback and forward to NLB staff as and when necessary

Roving duties and promotional support

• Performing roving duties in enforcing library etiquette
• Assisting in ensuring good housekeeping in the library reading areas
• Assisting in crowd controlling for programmes
