Job Description

• Leading procurement initiatives and projects within the department
• Lead a team of 2 direct reports
• Developing and implementing procurement strategies
• Monitoring supplier performance and managing contracts
• Ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures
• Building and maintaining relationships with key suppliers
• Identifying cost-saving opportunities and driving efficiency improvements
• Forecasting demand and managing inventory
• Participating in cross-functional teams to achieve company objectives

The Successful Applicant

• A degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Experience in procurement in the Industrial / Manufacturing industry
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build relationships
• Experience in leading teams
• Proficiency in using procurement software and tools
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of procurement regulations and procedures
