Reporting to: Operation Director
Job Responsibilities:
· Responsible for overseeing Production Material Control, Quality Assurance, Customer Service, Procurement, Logistics & Warehouse department operations.
· Lead manufacturing operations with quality output, involved in materials planning, procurement, quality assurance, and inventory control.
· Ensure product compliance with specified customer and international standards/requirements.
· Develop strategic business plans in manufacturing, supply chain, and quality operations
· Interact/coordinate with Operations, Contract Manufacturers, R&D, Product Management, Sales & Marketing teams to ensure timely deliveries of new product launches.
· Handle troubleshooting and provide technical solutions for product improvement during design and production stages under the desired cost and quality metrics.
· Develop and maintain strong working relationships with contract manufacturers and manage them to meet quality standards for producing high-quality products.
· Lead the Customer Service team to monitor field returns, RMA rates, identify risk, quality, and reliability issues.
· Take necessary actions to drive for improvements. Interact with customers, Sales and Marketing teams when necessary.
· Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in quality, cost, and efficiency.
· Others, as required.
Job Requirements:
· Degree or above in Electronic/ Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
· At least 15 years solid experience in manufacturing of computer components or electronic products
· Ability to demonstrate achievement of results e.g. business improvements, cost savings, revenue generation
· Fluent in spoken and written English, Cantonese & Mandarin with excellent communication and presentation skills
· In-depth knowledge and solid hands-on experience in various quality standards/methods (i.e. ISO, 6 Sigma, Lean, 5S, SPC, FMEA, PPAP, MIL-STD, J-STD, EIA-STD, environmental and safety regulatory compliance standards, etc.) and legislation issues in consumer electronic or computer products is essential
· Good leadership and interpersonal skills to motivate teams
· Strong in troubleshooting skills and analytical mind for problem-solving.
· Stable employment history and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
· Proficient in operating MRP/ ERP systems, i.e. SAP is preferred
· Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, WORD, PPT), SPC software tools, are required
· Required to travel for visiting vendors and contract manufacturers: China, Taiwan
