What you'll do in the role:

• My client is seeking someone to assist their diverse team of audit and assurance professionals as a technology auditor to support the Asia Internal Audit team in identifying, assessing and driving resources to areas of key technology risks and vulnerabilities, through evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of related controls.
• Help identify risk and impact to relevant coverage area to prioritize areas of focus
• Execute assurance activities (e.g., audits, continuous monitoring, closure verification) to assess risk and formulate a view on the control environment
• Assist in managing multiple deliverables in line with team priorities

What you'll bring to the role:

• Five years' experience in IT Audit is a must have.
• Understanding of institutional securities business and supporting functions, in addition to key related regulations
• Understanding of audit principles, methodology, tools and processes (e.g., risk assessments, planning, testing, reporting and continuous monitoring)
• Relevant professional qualifications, such as CISA, CISSP

We invite highly motivated professionals with relevant experience to join our team as Associates and/or Senior Associates. You will play an integral role as a key member of our Risk Advisory team providing risk advisory and internal controls review to clients.

This role offers a fantastic opportunity for experienced and aspiring auditors to work with our diverse team across various risk advisory services provided for our private sector and public sector clients. Successful candidates can look forward to participating in various projects such as internal controls review, forensic accounting, enterprise risk management, personal data protection act(PDPA) compliance, initial public offering(IPO) controls review and compliance management.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in different engagements across various organisations
• Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls through conducting process walkthroughs and documentation testing
• Perform compliance reviews related to regulatory requirements, guidelines and/or established policies
• Combine data analytics with analytical skills and critical thinking to pinpoint issues and ability to deep dive to find the ultimate root cause(s)
• Conduct risk discussions and assessments of risk profile and highlight key risks for reporting
• Preparation of project deliverables such as plans, working papers and reports
• Participate in introductory and closing meetings with clients
• Senior Associates can look forward to developing their leadership skills through review and supervising an engagement team as well as client management skills

What we are looking for:

• Minimum 1 year experience for Associates in operational, ISO, compliance, risk management or financial reviews/audits.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Possess good writing and analytical skills
• Adept at use of Excel, MS Word and MS Powerpoint
• Able to travel on overseas work assignments (post-COVID)
• Keen interest and initiative to learn, self-driven and a team player
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy and certifications such as CA, ACCA,CPA; CIA qualification will be an added advantage

• 8-10 years’ working experience in IT Risk, IT Audit and Process Assurance
• Independently manage the end-to-end SDM Compliance / Process Assurance reviews of the assigned projects based on the established process
• Ensure that Process Assurance reviews and subsequent reports for various assigned projects meet the tight timelines

• Evaluate vendors’ compliance with its quality control procedures

• Observe if data is collected in accordance
