The Metta Home for the Disabled and Metta Home Day Activity Centre (慈光乐陶苑及智障日间活动中心) were set up in December 2000 to offer community care options to adults with intellectual disabilities who are aged between 18 and 55.

Tending them with holistic care and working closely with their primary caregivers to provide well-rounded support is a multi-disciplinary team comprising a social worker, training officers, staff nurses, assistant nurses, nursing and therapy aides.

As a Driver cum General Assistant, the candidate is responsible in the following areas:

• Fetching clients for daily activities and for medical appointments.
• Assist to take care of clients during outing and medical appointments.
• Maintenance and cleaning of motor vehicles including for inspection and renewal of road tax.
• Collection of donation boxes or donation-in-kind items.
• Assist cleaner in hi-jet cleaning.
• Assisting in landscaping and maintenance tasks.
• Participate and assist during center/external events
• Any other duties as assigned

Working Location: Marsiling

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm
