Claims Service

• Work within local and regional on operating processe and claim handling procedures to ensure that quality claim service is rendered to all customers in accordance with Claims Philosophy.

We are looking for a Foreign Exchange Sales, Officer to join our team in Singapore. The successful applicant will be responsible for a portfolio of diverse clients including official institutions, asset managers, asset owners and, insurance companies and hedge funds. As strong sense of team is essential, as the person in the role will be expected to work closely with trading, research, relationship management and our colleagues offshore.

What you will be responsible for

As Foreign Exchange Sales, Officer, you will

• Interaction with clients across client segments to include as well as Asset Manager, Asset Owner, Insurance, Official Institutions, Hedge Funds, eFX clients and regional and global clients – dealing and producing market updates.
• Provide secondary and tertiary support to local, regional and global client relationships to share accountability for client relationships and business development
• Expand client relationships by taking responsibility of primary coverage for certain clients and onboarding new ones
• Pricing and keying in trades, handling pre-trade confirmations, liaising with middle and back office on trades
• Generate daily and monthly reports on FX business – conduct analysis on client’s performance
• Assist and coordinate client events/functions for State Street Global Markets
• Strong risk management culture – showing accountability and responsibilities in all daily activities and personal conduct
• Internal collaboration amongst local, regional and global colleagues to enhance and develop existing and new client relationships through innovation and creative thinking

Education & Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor (or higher) degree holder
• 1+ years of experience in a similar role

• Guest Interaction & Service:Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  Assist guests with reservations, ensuring that all guest preferences are noted and honored.
  Escort guests to their tables and ensure they are comfortable.
  Address and resolve guest concerns or complaints with diplomacy, ensuring positive resolutions.
  Maintain a high level of guest engagement during their dining experience, checking in periodically to ensure satisfaction.
  
• Reservation Management:Manage reservations and guest seating arrangements using the restaurant’s reservation system.
  Confirm reservations and provide any pre-arrival information (e.g., special events, menus, etc.).
  Upsell special offerings or promotions when appropriate.
  
• Guest Experience Enhancement:Personalize service by remembering repeat guests' names, preferences, and special occasions (e.g., birthdays, anniversaries).
  Ensure that all service standards are met, creating a high-quality guest experience.
  Facilitate special requests, such as dietary requirements, room setups, or event arrangements.
  
• Communication with Other Teams:Collaborate with kitchen, wait staff, and management to ensure smooth operations and high service standards.
  Inform kitchen or bar staff of special guest requests (e.g., allergies or food preferences).
  Maintain effective communication with the front-of-house team to ensure prompt seating, service, and guest follow-up.
  
• Administrative & Reporting Tasks:Monitor and update guest profiles (if applicable) for future reference.
  Assist with maintaining an organized waitlist, ensuring that guests are seated in a timely manner.
  Prepare daily reports on guest feedback, satisfaction levels, and any operational issues.
  
• Handling VIP Guests & Special Events:Provide a heightened level of service to VIP guests, ensuring their experience exceeds expectations.
  Assist in organizing special events, private dining, or group bookings, working with the management team to meet guest needs.
  
• Compliance & Standards:Adhere to all restaurant policies and health & safety regulations.
  Ensure a clean, organized, and professional environment in the guest-facing areas.
  Stay informed on restaurant menu offerings, promotions, and operational procedures.
  

• To review all Authority's and Contractor's drawings
• To provide all relevant endorsements required by the relevant authorities
• Supervise all civil, structural and geotechnical building works, both permanent and temporary
• To ensure that contractor had obtained all necessary permits and clearance to work
• To conduct site inspection and ensure that contractor(s) implement corrective actions and timely preventive/mitigation measures to protect surrounding structures
• To coordinate the contractor, AC, QP(D), relevant agencies, including interfacing contractors and consultants etc for the works
• To review, evaluate and assess all formwork structure, formwork support systems etc
• To review and supervise safety, environmental and health matters
• To supervise the installation of instrumentation
• To supervise sanitary and plumbing installations, pump drainage works etc
• To review, evaluate and assess the monitoring of instrumentation and interpretation of the results and provide analytical results/presentations
• To review Contractor's design and supervise all works

Criteria:

- Min 3 years of experience in Cut & Cover tunnelling or supervision of installation of monitoring instruments, collation of monitoring data and use of software for presentation of monitoring data for analysis and interpretation.

- Diploma in Civil and Structural Engineering

- Possess a valid RTO cert by JAC of IES/ACES as QSS Singapore

- Possess a valid RTO (Tunnel) cert by JAC of IES/ACES as QSS Singapore

• Perform functions relating to the financial data updating, collection, analysis and presentation of a company's financial position.

• Prepare account and bank reconciliation.

• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• You should possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.

• Preferably with at least 3 year accounting experience.

• A relevant accounting background would be an advantage.
