• To ensure related charges are billed and collected timely from the consignee or its agent
• Ensure all transactions are handled in an accurate, complete and timely manner
• To effectively follow up with warehouse/oversea offices on any short-landed, damaged or discrepancy cargo
• Answering to customer's inquiries and handling customer's complaints.
• Preparing of payment vouchers, verification of vendor costings, closing of all shipment files and filling of documents.
• To liaise with ocean carriers and master co-loaders on shipment booking and checking on schedule, space and equipment availability
• Any other task assigned by the superior

Qualifications

• Min. Diploma or higher
• Knowledge in freight forwarding, import & export procedure or permit declaration.
• Willing to work OT if required.
• Short notice Preferred

Job Description

5-day work: Monday- Friday, 8.30pm-4.30pm

Working Location: Jurong / Woodlands / Taiseng X3 Location

Company transport is provided from MRT

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily warehouse activities, including receiving, inspection, put away, picking, packing and cycle count.

• Loading and unloading of goods

• Ensure warehouse documentations are properly endorsed.

• Handle non-cable picking and packing operation

• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

• Report to Supervisor immediately when encountered discrepancy or abnormality in stock quantity

• Operating forklift and/or lift truck

• House keeping duties

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience

• At least a "N"/"O" Level qualification or equivalent

• Hardworking, Responsible and a Good Team Worker
