Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Ansible Automation Engineer to design and implement automation solutions tailored to diverse customer needs. The successful candidate will focus on developing robust playbooks and workflows to automate day-to-day IT operations across multiple domains, ensuring seamless integrations with industry-standard tools like Remedy and Jira.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with customers to understand automation requirements and define scope and workflows.
• Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks to automate day-to-day IT tasks across middleware, database, networking, infrastructure provisioning etc.
• Implement and manage integrations with ITSM tools like Remedy and Jira to streamline incident and change management processes.
• Ensure automation frameworks adhere to best practices in security and scalability.
• Troubleshoot, test, and validate playbooks to ensure reliable deployments and operations.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align automation strategies with overall IT objectives.

Required Skills:
• Ansible Expertise: Strong proficiency in Ansible and Ansible Automation Platform for playbook development, role creation, and managing inventory.
• System Administration: In-depth knowledge of Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) and Windows environments, including configuration and troubleshooting.
• Scripting and Development: Expertise in Python, Bash/Shell scripting, and YAML for automation and customization.
• Networking Automation: Hands-on experience with network device configurations (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto etc.) using Ansible.
• Database Management: Familiarity with automating database tasks for MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MS SQL.
• ITSM Tools Integration: Proven experience with integrating ITSM tools such as Remedy and Jira.
• DevOps Practices: Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps, including pipeline automation.
• Containerization: Basic knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for containerized application management and deployment automation.
• Security Practices: Familiarity with SSH, SSL/TLS, and other security mechanisms for secure automation.
• Version Control: Proficiency with Git for version control and collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in deploying Ansible Automation Platform (AAP).
• Certifications: Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation or equivalent certifications.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and workflows.
• Certifications in Ansible or related IT automation domains.
