Job Responsibilities:

• Inspect outgoing and incoming parts according to established procedures and specifications, including incoming process inspections.
• Maintain accurate quality records and manage quality-related data.
• Identify and escalate quality issues to the appropriate personnel for resolution.
• Ensure segregation of non-conforming products to prevent mixing with conforming products.
• Authorize rejection of parts that do not meet quality standards.
• Approve the release of conforming parts for storage and subsequent delivery.
• Conduct routine factory tests and inspections on completed switchboards.
• Perform testing and commissioning of switchboards on-site or on vessels, ensuring customer satisfaction, and address warranty claims or quality concerns.
• Conduct official tests on switchboards with surveyors, consultants, or customers as required.
• Support the manager in fulfilling quality responsibilities and achieving objectives.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the QA Department.
• Adhere to safety protocols during all tasks.
• Use calibrated instruments for inspections to ensure accuracy.
• Initiate actions to prevent product non-conformities.
• Propose and implement solutions for identified issues.
• Verify the effectiveness of implemented solutions.
• Control further processing or delivery of non-conforming products until issues are resolved.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisors.
• Comply with the Quality Management System procedures for effective implementation and control.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Prefer 2 to 3 years of QA experience in marine or industrial field.
• Experience in testing of switchboards/panels will be an advantage.
• Willing to work onboard the vessel and travel occasionally.

Role Overview:
Join our client's dynamic team as a Software Engineer or Senior Software Engineer, where you will develop and manage cutting-edge solutions for SPI, factory line systems, and associated modules. The role demands technical expertise, creativity, and a strong focus on quality to deliver scalable and maintainable software solutions. Senior candidates will additionally lead complex design tasks, mentor junior engineers, and drive innovation in a competitive landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain software solutions for SPI and factory line systems, focusing on quality and scalability.
• Provide effective solutions for production units and address customer requirements with a balance between functionality and time-to-market.
• Solve complex engineering problems using innovative approaches and technical analysis.
• Conduct technical reviews and provide evidence of appropriate solutions to customers.
• Stay updated on industry trends through continual professional development.
• Guide junior team members (for Senior roles) and support their growth.
• Perform any additional ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor/Master Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 3–5 years of relevant working experience, depending on the role.
• Strong experience in software design, analysis, and validation of engineering requirements.
• Proficient in C++, UML, and the appropriate usage of design patterns.
• Familiarity with Source Control Systems, Visual Studio, and Software Development Lifecycle.
• Knowledge and experience in hardware systems, real-time control systems, Unit Testing, Dependency Injection, and WPF are advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to balance functional design with time-to-market considerations while maintaining scalability and maintainability.
• Senior candidates should have experience mentoring junior engineers and leading complex software design tasks.

We’re searching for a Senior Engineer/Engineer to be part of our Product Engineering diverse team of talent. You will be responsible for yield, quality and reliability issues of devices.

What you will be working on:

• Resolve yield, quality and reliability issues in the qualification of new devices
• Perform pre-tapeout risk assessment and communication with Business line/ Fab on the necessary actions to eliminate/ minimize risk
• Conduct product yield analysis to identify root causes of wafer sort and final test failures
• Work with Customers and Account Managers to maximize die output
• Establish product low yield criteria and dispositioning
• Provide product engineering support to failure analysis lab for electrical fault isolation
• Provide product engineering support to reliability lab to understand and resolve reliability failures
• Compliance to safety, discipline and housekeeping rules
• Support cost reduction through yield improvement and resolving excursion
• Participate in continuous yield and productivity improvement projects

More About You:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent
• 2 years of relevant product engineering experiences in front-end wafer fab environment or
• In depth knowledge of semiconductor device physics, electrical & electronics engineering fundamentals & wafer fabrication processes
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
