Job Descriptions:
To support in setting up robust systems and processes at branch office(s) and ensure compliance by Branch Finance team(s) for all Finance & Accounting relating matters.
Overview of responsibilities:
Collaborate with branch office(s) to ensure compliance both with reporting requirements, tax laws and statutory requirements.
• Act as branch reviewer with continuous engagement with respective Branch Finance Controllers.
• Review the branch activities including finance, audit, tax and other compliance, periodical financials, position papers etc.
• Provide necessary support and handholding from HO perspective.
• Implement the financial control systems, policies, and procedures.
• Collaborate with head office to ensure the accuracy of cash flow projections.
• Develop budget and revisions and monitor monthly deviations.
• Work closely with vertical(s) to set up processes that enhance the internal controls.
• Ensuring prompt and accurate month-end and year-end close processes.
• Review financial statements and assure their timely submission.
• Provide support to internal and external auditors in completing audits across all branch office(s).
• Work closely with branch finance controller to understand changes in local compliances, regulations etc.
• Provide support in setting up Finance &Accounts operations in new branch office(s).
• Ensure implementation and compliance to SAP in new branch office(s).
• Assist in preparation of Corporate MIS(Consolidated).
• Assist in analysis of MIS from branches and provide inputs.
• Prepare compliance report on quarterly basis, review of Branch Compliance reports and exceptions, if any.
• Prepare consolidated compliance report to present to management.
• Assist in reviewing SOP compliance by all locations and co-ordinate with the branch accountants to ensure SOPs are followed.
Key Challenges:
• Engagement with multiple parties operating in different time zones.
• Ability to manage the work in stringent timelines.
• Travel to respective branch for inspection/audit/review
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Certified Accountant/ CPA/ MBA in Finance
• 5-7 years of relevant experience including management of multiple geographies
• Proficient with SAP, Microsoft Office tools
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate with team members in multiple geographies.
• Knowledge of IFRS, Consolidation, Tax, Accounting, Compliance, Financial Statements, Financial Reporting, MIS
• Good understanding of accounting concepts.
• Strong commercial acumen.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to partner effectively
