As a Sports & Recreation Executive in MOE Sports and Recreation Club (MESRC), you will play a pivotal role to promote and organize sports and recreational activities among MOE personnel in schools and HQ.

Your key responsibilities include:

1. Planning and Organizing Events

• Develop and manage the annual MOE Healthy Lifestyle Incentive Award Scheme, ensuring accurate submission of Sports for Life Fitness Assessment results.

• Plan and oversee the Centralised and School-based Sports for Life Fitness Assessments (e.g., Walk or Run Tests).

The position assists the Executive Steward to manage the team, to be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and quality of all F&B and Kitchen equipment and all pantry and kitchen area, so that all guests will have a safe and wonderful dining experience, ensures that kitchen hygiene and safety standards are meet, through active supervision of the Steward Supervisor, Steward Attendant and Night Kitchen Cleaner. • Oversees that the kitchen floor is clean and dry at all times, looks out for any potential safety hazard issue and tries to eliminate it immediately.
• Oversees the sanitation of all operation equipment are done as per kitchen’s hygiene standards requirement.
• Oversees that the work procedure in the kitchen are carry out as per HACCP’s requirement and the safety aspect is in line with WSH. 
• Oversees that all HACCP check-list and documentation are updated on a daily basis.

Job Description

• Full spectrum of talent acquisition processes including but not limited to liaising with recruitment agencies, hiring managers and candidates, ensure recruitment documents are in order, job posting, screening of CVs, interview arrangement, etc.
• Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing employment contracts, conducting orientation sessions, and coordinating exit interviews.
• Manage day-to-day HR activities, including maintaining employee records and preparing HR-related documents.
• Reviewing employee timesheets to ensure accuracy and completeness which involves checking for correct clock-in and out and overtime hours. Comparing timesheets against the system clock in/out and update the system to reflect the correct information.
• Managing for CoreTrade Certification for foreign worker levy concession.

• Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue across all departments (rooms, food and beverage, events, etc.).
• Analyze market trends, competitor performance, and demand patterns to adjust pricing and promotions.
• Provide regular updates on sales performance, operational metrics, and financial results.
• Collaborate with the Revenue Management and Sales teams to optimize pricing, distribution, and inventory strategies.

Sales Oversight

• Work closely with the Director of Sales and Marketing to ensure effective campaigns and promotions align with the hotel’s business goals.
• Drive initiatives to attract and retain key accounts and business partnerships.
• Evaluate the success of sales and marketing efforts and recommend improvements.            

Operational Leadership

• Oversee the performance of commercial departments (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Events, and Reservations).
• Ensure alignment between operations and the overall commercial strategy of the hotel.
• Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies that enhance profitability.
• Special projects champion to elevate Guest Satisfaction and improvement of process.

Report and assists to the Restaurant Manager in day to day restaurant operation.

Supervise the Restaurant Supervisor, Waiter / Waitress, Host / Hostess.

Set an example by reporting to duty punctually.

Assist in leading the restaurant efficiently in costs and expenses, constantly delivering the highest quality as well as driving high top line revenue and profit.
