You will play an integral role within the Sales Team, generating new business through research, calls and meetings with clients and prospects. Our Sales Development Program will prepare you for your eventual role as a Sales Executive where you will represent the client facing side of FDM. As a Sports & Recreation Executive in MOE Sports and Recreation Club (MESRC), you will play a pivotal role to promote and organize sports and recreational activities among MOE personnel in schools and HQ.

Your key responsibilities include:

1. Planning and Organizing Events

Job Summary

The Executive Officer performs core Secretariat functions to support the MENDAKI Club Executive Committee (EXCO) in the execution of events and programmes which help Malay/Muslim youths and professionals (i.e., youths aged between 13 to 35 years old) excel and support one another, as well as the internal operations of the Club. The aforementioned Secretariat functions are carried out by the Executive Officer and Manager under the MENDAKI Club Secretariat, supported by the Executive Assistant.

Role Purpose:

To provide excellent Customer Service to all customers interested in all of the British Council’s activities (including English teaching, Examinations, Education UK, Library and cultural operations) in order to meet and exceed customers’ expectations and enable the British Council to meet its corporate objectives.

Main accountabilities but not limited to the following:

Enquiry Handling

• Answer first level enquiries received in person, by mail, email, telephone, or social media on relevant aspects of the UK and the British Council’s activities in a friendly and professional manner, invoking the principles of TIE in line with Customer Service standards.
• Build rapport with the prospect in order to find out the objectives, needs and requirements of the customer, and take their interest forward.
