Job Description

• Manages group room/F&B events enquiries and related functions, dealing from receipt

As an Events Executive, you’ll :

• Collaborate with Events Manager to bring creative visions to life, managing planning, budgeting, logistics coordination and onsite execution.
• Work closely with our creative and production teams, as well as third-party suppliers, to ensure seamless delivery of every project
• Lead onsite operations including venue management, registrations, coordination with speakers and crew
• Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with strategic clients and partners

We are looking for an incumbent with drive and commitment to deliver the job scope as follows:

1. Raise Purchase Orders (PO), source for competitively priced products from China and other countries, arrange shipping, follow up on timely delivery, check quantity and quality of reception into stock is in accordance with PO, report on items not received or damaged to Supervisor. Close communication and co-ordination is required with Requisitioners, supplier, freight forwarders is required to ensure timely delivery and no stock out situation. Update reception into inventory system in a timely manner.

2. Pack orders according to sales orders (SO) ready for delivery from the Sales team. Check quantity and quality of goods are accurate as per SO. Incumbent has to co-ordinate and iIase with freight forwarders and customers, prepare delivery documentation required on delivery. Ensure accurate packing, prompt delivery to customers. Update Sales system on delivery information in a timely manner upon goods being shipped out

3. Carry out regular stoctake to ensure physical stock and inventory system is the same.

4. Organise inventory in the warehouse for easy retrieval

5. Identify obsolete or damaged stocks for disposal and highlight stock with low stock level for replenishment to supervisor

6. One of our sources of products is from China, therefore knowledge of Mandarin is required as one of the sources of supply is China

Responsibilities:

• Handle full sets of accounts including consolidation of accounts within the Group.

• Ensure accurate and timely monthly financial reporting, performance and variance analysis.

• Prepare yearly audit schedules and GL accounts reconciliation.

• Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements and financial reporting standards.

• File regulatory returns to authorities including GST returns, income tax computation and annual returns in XBRL format.

• Prepare cash flow forecast, bank reconciliation and cash monitoring.

• Prepare quarterly and yearly budgets.

• Review, design, implement and update effective internal control systems and financial procedures and processes.

• Improve the reporting process and report automation.

• Liaise with external auditors and tax agent.

Requirement:

• ACCA or Degree in Accountancy.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.

• Sound knowledge of and experience in applying International and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, Singapore GST and corporate tax requirements.

• A team player with strong analytical, good problem solving and interpersonal skill.

• Hands-on, independent, mature, meticulous and with an eye of details.

• Able to work under pressure and meet tight reporting deadlines.

• Result oriented with strong sense of accountability and ownership.

• Proficient in MS Office Applications.

Position Title: Accounts Executive

(Part-time 3 days a week, 9am to 5.30pm)

Your Key Responsibilities will be:

· Complete a full set of accounts

· GST filing

· Preparing year-end adjustments (Prepayments and accruals)

Requirements:

· Preferable to start work immediately or within short notice

· If you have experience in corporate tax filing (Form CS), you will receive a higher salary range

· At least 3 years of relevant experience in handling a full set of accounts

· The candidate is required to work 3 days a week or 12 days in a month
