The Institute of Sustainability for Chemicals, Energy and Environment (ISCE2) was established by A*STAR in 2022 to support Singapore's sustainability goals, including the Singapore Green Plan and Zero Waste Masterplan, through strong international partnerships with industry, public agencies, and academia. ISCE2 is located at Jurong Island.

You will play a key role in supporting the monthly manpower report, grant management, grant utilisation and financial planning of ISCE2. As part of day-to-day operations, you will also be involved in updating of manpower allocation in SAP and coordinating with various stakeholders for manpower budgets and projection. In the process of stakeholders' engagement, you will have the opportunities to interact with senior management and researchers directly, as well as various counterparts in HQ e.g. Finance, HR etc.

Job description:

• Analyse monthly manpower reports, monitor grants utilisation for manpower and prepare for presentations as and when needed
• Perform short- and long-term financial projections for the Institute
• Update of manpower allocation in SAP on a timely basis
• Prepare and submit Fund Requisitions and Final Statement of Accounts
• Ensure proper allocation of bonuses to projects
• Attend to queries from grantors and auditors on manpower charging
• Checking of budget and headcount availability of manpower requisition for staff to be hired
• Perform billing and charging of services provided
• Other duties as may be assigned

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Finance/Business Administration/Accountancy with at least 2 years of experience in resource or grant management
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel and PowerPoint
