Job Description:
Reporting to the Head/Deputy Head of Financial Institutions Department, this person will be the Custody Product manager overseeing custody business developments as well as project participation within the organisation.
Responsibilities:
a) Develop and maintain client relationship relating with custody business and future fund account business, by ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
b) Main contact person to liaise with Head office custody team. Understand strategic business direction, collaborate with front office stakeholders to achieve business targets.
c) Articulate clearly on client’s requirements and propose implementation of customised custody operating model.
d) Propose fee quotation, ability to project client’s potential revenue generation based on client’s portfolio.
e) Engaging with internal stakeholders to line up the book of work, taking business priorities in consideration and driving timely deliveries across line of businesses.
f) Critical role where candidate will partner with core teams to lead time sensitive sales programmes effectively while managing both business and technology stakeholders to help capitalise on best deliverables to grow the business.
Requirement:
a) Bachelor’s degree with more than 10 years of working experience, preference given to candidate with more than 4 year experience in the sales activities related with custody, fund accounting and/or securities/fund operations in banking/brokerage sector.
b) Familiar with global custody business models and products, good customer relationships with sovereign, bank and non-bank clients and understanding of cross-boarder institutional investment business and QFI/CIBM channels.
b) High adaptability, ability to handle stress in a fast paced environment and efficient team manager.
c) Effective communication with good interpersonal skills.
d) Ability to conduct market research and excellent report writing ability in business Chinese so as to conduct report and provide service to Chinese speaking stakeholders.
