Safety Policies

Developing and implementing safety policies helps employers reduce accident-related costs and prevent losses due to a decline in productivity. The safety officer determines what policies are needed and solicits input from managers and workers. Once a policy has been finalised, the safety officer alerts worker about the change and monitors compliance.

Workplace Inspections

Safety officers inspect interior and exterior work areas to determine if thre are any safety hazards.
