Role Summary

This is an Investment Analyst role reporting to the Head of Equities Research. The individual will be part of the Equities team under the Investment group. The analyst for this position will be based in Singapore.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Produce investment research reports with actionable investment ideas for the firm’s equity portfolios as part of the firm’s Equities Research team under guidance from senior analyst.
• Assist to generate alpha and investment ideas for relative and absolute return portfolios for the sectors, industries and countries assigned.
• Country coverage will primarily be the Greater China equity markets across all sectors. Coverage responsibilities may include ad hoc research into stocks of special interest. Over time, coverage and responsibilities can change, based on team needs and the individual’s experience and aspirations.
• Contribute to other research team initiatives that periodically arise and follow established practices and procedures.

Education Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or a relevant discipline
• Preferably a CFA charter holder

JOB SUMMARY

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience

• 4 - 5 years’ experience in the food and beverage, or related professional area and with leadership experience such as Assistant Restaurant Operations Manager or a current Restaurant Operations Manager, OR
• Degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 2 – 3 years’ experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area and with leadership experience such as Assistant Restaurant Operations Manager or a current Restaurant Operations Manager
