Job Description (Façade Rectification Project):

1) Project Planning and Progress Controlling – collaborating with other stakeholders to determine project scope, objectives, timelines and budget constraints. Understand the specific requirements of the project.

2) Design and Engineering –collaborating with the design team to ensure that the designs are workable and meet technical specifications.

3) Safety and Compliance –Ensures that all work is carried out following safety regulations and industry best practices.

4) Quality Control –Monitors the quality of work being done, conducts inspections and ensures that the work meet the required quality standards.

5) Procurement - Required to be involved in the procurement of necessary equipment, materials and components for the project.

6) Resource Management - Responsible for coordinating resources, including general labour, equipment and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.

7) Problem Solving – When unexpected challenges and issues arise. The Manager plays a crucial role in identifying and resolving these problems.

Specification/Job Requirements

• Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical or civil Engineering or equivalent
• At least 3 years of experience in project management.
• Knowledge of applicable engineering theory, methods and practices.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities, stress, detailed work, reasoning, deadlines. Must be flexible, analytical, and possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Will be interacting with multiple stakeholders and working independently.
• The person is expected to be flexible including working outside of normal work hours and weekend working on occasions when required.

Job Scope:

• Oversee project planning, execution, and completion across multiple sectors, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and high-quality standards.
• Establish and maintain best practices focused on innovation, efficiency, and sustainability.
• Lead cost management initiatives and ensure financial accountability in all project activities.
• Collaborate with Procurement to optimize project procurement strategies and ensure the selection of high-quality materials and services.
• Supervise commissioning processes to ensure systems meet operational and performance criteria before handover.
• Implement risk management practices to identify, mitigate, and manage construction risks effectively.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, business conduct, and ethics policies.
• Identify risks and challenges that may impact project outcomes and develop realistic delivery plans to meet objectives.
• Maintain strong stakeholder management and effective communication.
• Invest in coaching and mentoring team members to support their professional development.

Job Requirement:

• Min. 3-5 years of relevant working experience
• Candidate with Professional Certificate in Project Management will be a bonus
• Experience handling projects in Electrical is a mandatory for this role (Any Industry are welcome to apply!)
