Oversee construction drawing management and control of construction technical documentations.

· Carry out daily construction site supervision, coordination and quality assurance of all trade implementation on site.

· Ensure works are carried out in accordance with updated drawings, specifications, method of statements, master programme and consultants site instructions.

· Liaise with Clients, Consultants, RE / RTO to carry out site inspection and attend weekly /monthly meeting.

· Manage procurement of all site resources including sub-contractors, suppliers, manpower, materials and machinery .

· Conduct regular inspections and assess the work performance done by sub-contractors, conduct weekly or monthly meeting with sub-contractors to update, monitor and manage work progress.

· Manage and resolve technical issues on construction site, prepare method of statement, shop / working /as-built drawing, project daily / weekly / monthly progress report with progress photographs.

Job Description

• Discipline package owner, assist in project planning and scheduling.
• Review engineering designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance to project requirements.
• Liaise with consultant for technical issues and coordinate the site activities with subcontractors.
• Assist construction manager & quantity surveyor in project progress claim.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultant and suppliers and other project stakeholder.
• Track project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Submit shop drawings and material samples for conformance with project specification and requirement.
• Monitor Health and Safety on projects to ensure safe working practices are carried out in accordance to local regulations.
• Check site progress and productivity, record and submit progress claims for certification and payment.
• Provide technical support and resolve engineering issues.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree/Master in Civil & Engineering or equivalent, recognized universities under the BCA, possess quantity surveying skills is a plus.
• Min 5 years working experience in construction industry with major A/A works and ERSS/piling works.
• Experience in underpinning works and conservation building works will be an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Autocad, Common Data Environtment.
• Experience in working and coordination between design and construction teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Contract, Project & Filing management, preparation of purchase order, variations & final accounts and generation of cost control and reports
• General administration support to project team and assisting the project manager in working out the quantities for variations and progress claims
• Prepare monthly progress claim, vet/recommend and prepare clients’ payment certificate for management approval
• Act as second point of contact (client-servicing) on behalf of project engineers for enquiries from external stakeholders pertaining to projects & term contracts
• Undertake any other ad-hoc projects/duties assigned
