What you will be doing

We are running a Chinese Style Steamboat and Bbq restaurant. We are hiring a Master Chef

The duties of a Master Chef are of follows:

1. Able to prepare Mala Broth, Herbal Broth, Tomato Broth ,Tom Yam Broth

2. Must be able to marinate meat , i.e Pork, Beef, Mutton, Chicken.

3. Prepare Chinese Szechuan Dishes according to our menu.

4.Maintain and execute Safety and Standard Operation Procedure required by the company.

5. Have leadership qualities, able to lead a team of workers for the day to day operation.

6. At least 3years working experience in the same industry.

7. Perform an other duties assigned by the Restaurant Manager.

8. Ensure the freshness and quality of food items.

9. Main the cleaniness and hygiene of the kitchen.

Responsibilities:

• Provide Project Management support in the card transaction lifecycle to run the project from end to end
• Tracking of deliverables, coordinating with local teams to arrange/set-up venues for visits in multiple regions etc.
• Liaising and managing stakeholder expectations and needs
• Ensuring smooth transitions and progress in the projects
• Improving existing processes, planning and manage resources effectively
• Prioritizing tasks and managing time to meet deadlines
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 6-10 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge in card transaction lifecycle, with past working experience in the payments/cards industry preferred

Established in 2007, the SMU School of Social Sciences (SOSS) provides high quality undergraduate and graduate education expanding SMU’s pedagogical strategy to the study of society, government, and individuals embedded within an increasingly complex world. With faculty expertise and research spanning the disciplines of psychology, political science, sociology, and philosophy, SOSS’s research covers key thematic areas such as international development, policy and politics, Southeast Asian studies, social movements, and sustainability. It currently has a PhD programme in Psychology, with plans to expand its taught postgraduate offerings into other disciplines as part of its growth plan. The School aspires to make a significant and lasting contribution across sectors through its integrative approach to the study of social issues.

Position

The School of Social Sciences (SOSS) invites applications for an Associate Professor (Tenured) position in Psychology to begin in July 2025. The candidate is expected to teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses across several major areas of psychology, such as but not limited to Introduction to Psychology, Industrial-Organisational Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Developmental Psychology, and Research Methods.

We seek candidates with a demonstrated record of internationally excellent scholarly research and excellent teaching in undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in psychology. The position requires the candidate to be in this position for a significant number of years by the date of appointment.

Singapore Management University is committed to an interdisciplinary and integrated curriculum, providing opportunities to work with faculty across the social sciences. The research support is excellent, and salary and benefits are highly competitive. The teaching load is relatively light and undergraduate classes are capped at no more than 45 students.

Candidate Criteria

Applicants must have:

· A record of internationally excellent research in the discipline of psychology.

· Teaching experience in a variety of core and specialised psychology courses, at both undergraduate and post-graduate levels.

· Experience with applying for competitive research grants.

· Experience with supervising undergraduate and postgraduate students.

· Evidence of excellence in teaching delivery.

· Excellent communication skills.

· The ability to work in a team with colleagues across a variety of social science disciplines.
