Summary

BPS Associate Accountant fulfils an integral transactional and reporting function in Deloitte’s Business Process Solutions (“BPS”). This role touches all aspects of finance function including GST compliance, documentation of process improvements and other special projects as needed. This position will report to the BPS Senior / BPS Manager.

Job Purpose:

Provide support on recording accounting transactions, and generating timely financial reports including the GST reporting process. Prepare online bank payments and provide cash flow projections to our clients by coordinating with relevant contacts and maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts. NES Fircroft has partnered with our client, a leading Oil & Gas company dedicated to innovation and providing comprehensive industrial solutions, to seek a Senior Project Engineer to join the team.

Main Duties:

Supervise & Coordinate project’s day to day activities including installation and coordination with consultants, main contractors and subcontractors.

Guide, provide inputs and comments, for the drafter to prepare installation plan drawings, detailed drawings for mechanical parts like piping layout, piping isometric drawing, pipe supports, process and mechanical plan drawings.

Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes, recommending actions.

Check, confirm all safety documents and issue work permits to contractors in collaboration with site safety officers, work permit requirements will be trained by in-house team

Assist project manager or procurement in charge in preparation of tender documentation, procurement specification and Bill of quantity.

Manage and coordinate vendors and suppliers during commissioning and testing of the equipment and systems.

Assist Project Manager in the preparation of project Capex, budget estimation and cost allocation.

Conduct Toolbox meetings with safety officers onsite and maintain records.

With sound knowledge of process piping installation and equipment installation.

Able to work with drafters to produce Piping drawings, installation drawings, details design.

Qualifications:

Graduate of Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or equivalent engineering education.

Experience:

More than 5 yrs experience working on site installation coordination and project supervision.

Experience working at process/equipment construction site, plant installation, EPC, or equivalent.

With experience in giving inputs in technical design and technical document preparation.

With experience in piping installation, Equipment installation, pipe routing.

We are seeking a qualified and experienced IT Project Manager to effectively liaise with diverse teams, including System Infrastructure, Security, and others. You will ensure seamless project execution and must possess a minimum of 10 years of IT System and Project Management experience.

Role and Responsibilities:

Single Point of Contact:

• Act as the primary liaison for meetings, project schedules/timelines, and technical system knowledge.
• Gather, store, and present technical information such as Firewall Rules, Equipment configurations, Circuit IDs, subscribed bandwidth, etc., to the Authority.

Change Management and Documentation:

• Submit Change Requests (CR) for project team approval.
• Document system and integration designs, equipment lists, rack layouts, cable routing plans, and bandwidth requirements.
• Process and update information in existing documentation.
• Identify and document project risks for review by the Authority.

Security and Reporting:

• Serve as the Point Of Contact (POC) for security clearance procedures.
• Present progress reports at monthly meetings, reporting project status to the Authority.
• Lead the review, modification, design, and implementation of new and existing systems.

Engineering Team Leadership:

• Lead the engineering team in onboarding/installation of systems equipment.
• Record meeting minutes and action items, submitting them to the Authority promptly.
• Monitor and track outstanding actions/problems, ensuring proper closure.
• Populate equipment hardware into the monitoring and management system upon installation.

Documentation and Compliance:

• Provide detailed inventory lists with equipment hardware/software information and assigned IP addresses.
• Submit System As-built documentation after successful Onsite Acceptance Test (OSAT).
• Manage Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) readiness and system implementation according to the agreed timeline.

Ideal candidate:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in IT System Management within the Government sector .
• PMP certification.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with vendor management and Cloud services.
• Ability to coordinate contractors, customers, and resources effectively.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of Claim Administrators who will be performing verification checks on the claim submission by employees
• Ensure that claims administration, assessment, clarifications, and deductions are made timely and accurately in accordance to stipulated policies and guidelines within the Service Level Agreement (SLA)
• Understand the relevant policies and provide guidance to team members on complex cases
• Handle escalated cases or perform service recovery if necessary
• Perform process review, identify areas for improvement and implement changes
• Ensure knowledge retention by keeping Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Work Instructions (WI) are updated timely

Summary of Job Responsibilities

Acting as MBS’s representative within the contractual terms applicable, this role is to direct, co-ordinate and supervise assigned projects with the Project Team. The Project Manager will oversee and provide day-to-day direction for a team of Consultants, Contractors, and Assistant Project Managers.

The Project Manager will ensure that MBS’ briefs, designs, specifications and relevant information are made available to, and are executed as specified with due regard to cost and time by, the Design Team, Consultants, Construction Manager, Contractors, etc. (i.e. the Project Team), so that MBS’ objectives are fully met.

The Project Manager will maintain control of project schedule, budget and risk issues. This responsibility also includes facilitating timely decisions to maintain Project schedule and budget, as well as provide senior management with regular project updates, identify project risks early, and communicating prudent and timely recommendations for risk avoidance.

Job Responsibilities

The Project Manager duties would include, but not be limited to:

• Responsible for the preparation and application of the Project Execution Plan.
• Monitor and control the progress and development of all related project deliverables through the various stages of the project in accordance with the MBS’s policy.
• Lead Project Management teams. Provide expertise, guidance, advice, support and motivate project teams.
• Report to senior management via meetings or by regular written reports the progress of related project matters together with the status of related issues.
• Manages routine client interaction. Sets and manages client expectations.
• Manage and prepare all reporting activities required for the Project Stakeholders.
• Attend meetings as required to ensure the compliance with the overall project standards, procedures and requirements.
• Ensure that projects for which you are responsible are delivered on time, on budget and to the prescribed standards.
• Ensure the prompt delivery of all project deliverables.
• Find resolution to and preempt problems during the various stages of the project.
• Communicates effectively with Operations Teams to identify needs and evaluate alternative Project solutions.
• Assistance in the selection of the Consultants as well as in the negotiation of their terms and conditions of engagement with the Procurement team.
• Assistance with the appointment of Contractors/Subcontractors, including giving advice on the most suitable forms of tender and contract.
• Oversee that the review of all relevant submissions are in line with the project schedule.
• Oversee and ensure that Change Management as it relates to budget, revised design and potential schedule impact is carried out in line with MBS procedures.
• Assist the Design team with design management, design coordination and design delivery to meet the project schedule.
• Work and liaise with the Design team on project matters, and also initiate value engineering initiatives to ensure that the project develops within the recognized cost and time constraints.
• Regularly inspect the progress of the work on site and provide guidance to the project and construction management teams on best practices and potential efficiencies on scheduling and processes.
• Oversee and support the Construction Management Team to ensure the adequate and timely flow of information, designs, technical data and feedback, to meet the stringent construction schedule requirements on the project.
• Plan and Implement Procedure and Quality Checks for assigned projects.
• Assisting the Director of Project Management as directed in any other Project Management related activities.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Tertiary Degree in a Construction/Building/Project Management/Engineering related field.
• Minimum 10 years working experience in the field of Project Management. Experience in the Hospitality field is preferred.
• Sound knowledge of Project Management procedures.
• Strong communication skills, as well as the ability to visualize issues and communicate them to others.
• Outstanding organization, coordination and leadership skills – ability to coordinate groups of Consultants/ Contractors.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Department information
The Engineering Project Management department is a team of experienced professionals who are assigned to projects to manage the technical scope of the project and to ensure the technical scope is executed in compliance to contractual requirements, internal and external codes, standards and regulations within budget and schedule.

Role description

The Deputy Site EPM will initially be based in the module yard and will report to the Site EPM, and (dotted line) the Construction Manager. The deputy Site EPM will transition to the integration yard after module load out. The Deputy Site EPM is the designated deputy for the Site EPM in the event of non-availability.

As deputy Site EPM you will:

• be the first point of contact for Site Engineering and Construction teams for engineering related matters.
• Be responsible for reviewing SiteTechnical Queries at the module yard and expedite responses within 5 working days during the construction phase.
• ensure that the site engineering team is adequately staffed to enable the yard.
• ensure all site impacted approved MOC scope is captured in a timely manner with an engineering deliverable issued to the yard or with a Site instruction/Job Card.
