Work Hours:

• Mondays to Thursdays: 7:30 am to 5:00 pm (inclusive of 1-hour lunch break)
• Fridays (Non-HBL): 7:30 am to 5:00 pm (inclusive of 1-hour lunch break)
• Fridays (Home Based Learning - HBL): 7:30 am to 3:30 pm (inclusive of 1-hour lunch break)
• Saturdays: As required, based on school calendar (up to a maximum of 4 Saturdays, off-in-lieu granted)
• Service not required on Sundays and gazetted public holidays
• Working hours may adjust based on school operational needs

Key Responsibilities

Student Discipline and Monitoring:

• Conduct regular patrols of school premises and nearby areas.
• Oversee student discipline during assigned hours and ensure the maintenance of school rules.
• Document and file discipline cases; investigate and manage minor discipline cases.
• Monitor and follow up on recalcitrant offenders.
• Address uniform and grooming issues.

Supervision and Support:

• Supervise students on in-school suspension.
• Oversee student guidance and engagement programmes as scheduled.
• Assist with student management, including supervision during school activities and recess.
• Provide basic counselling support to students.

External Liaison:

• Liaise with external agencies (e.g., MHA, Police, CNB, Court, MCYS, VWOs, SHGs) as necessary, ensuring the proper handover of ongoing cases between shifts.

Security and Safety:

• Assist with the review of school CCTV system during assigned shift.

Administrative Support:

• Assist the Internal Assessment Committee with escort duties during examinations.
• Provide administrative and technical support as required during the assigned shift.

Additional Responsibilities:

• During Home-Based Learning (HBL) days and school holidays, assist the School Admin Team and/or School Operations Team with assigned administrative tasks and operational duties.

Qualification, Skills & Experience Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• Diploma in any discipline (preferably from a local polytechnic).
  Those without a diploma but with relevant experience may also apply.

Work Experience:

• At least 3 years of relevant work experience in student management or a related field.

• Strong planning, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work with teenagers and manage their needs using good child psychology.
• Fluency in English and one other national language.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
