• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in construction coordination or a related role.
• Class 3 license
• Knowledge of construction processes
• Strong organizational, multitasking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with construction-related regulations and safety standards.

Responsible for overseeing Automated People Mover System Project by performing effective Project Management including effective cost, time and quality control, manpower planning by cooperating with Project Manager;

Interfaces with multiple project stakeholders including Japan Office to ensure smooth execution of project.

Job responsibility

• Leading project planning sessions
• Transportation infrastructure and construction, for Automated People Mover System.
• Daily reporting and communication in Japanese with Japan Office.
• Project management and coordination with various stakeholders both internal and external to ensure smooth project execution and timely completion of various milestones.
• Designing and signing off on contracts
• Overseeing all incoming and outgoing project documentation.
• Participating in tender process i.e. design, submission and review.
• Monitoring progress and make adjustments as needed.
• Performing risk management to minimize project risks
• Tracking and control project costs to meet project budget
• Tracking and control project schedule to meet project milestones including direct negotiation with client and vendors.

Job requirement

• Degree in Engineering or minimum 3 years’ of project management experience
• Minimum 3 years job site experience in Automated People Mover System or other construction domain
• Excellent Japanese Language skills (JLPT N1 or equivalent level) in both business writings & speaking to coordinate & communicate precise information with Japanese stakeholders in the APAC region / counterparts in Japan HQ.
• Experience in negotiation for contract terms
• Technical skill to utilize Primavera P6, which is software for project management, to lead the regular progress update and the contractual negotiation arrangement such as extension of time.
• Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing with multiple stakeholders including superiors, colleagues, contracted staff and individuals both inside and outside the organization
