1. Job Description

- Play as Project Manager (Project Management Office) or Delivery Lead on banking system development or implementation projects.

- Manage the progress and milestone. Promote and control the issue & ToDo. Organize the progress report and report to client’s management. Also, manage the cost and human resource.

- Communicate closely with clients, business & IT related members. Organize teams and lead until the project ends.

- Manage client’s expectations to maintain the company’s impressions at a positive level.

2. Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Sciences, Computer Engineer or Information Technology or related.

- IT Project Management Knowledge and Experiences

Must understand the overall software development life cycle.

3 or more years of experience of IT related project management or Delivery Lead. (Direct and manage project development from beginning to end)

Project Management Delivery tasks such as approach and plan definition, status tracking, issue and risk identification and resolution, resource planning, and governance execution

Will be able to understand and follow the process of the banking system development or implementation project.

- Japanese & English Language Skills

Must read, write and speak Japanese at a high level (native / JLPT N1 or higher) to engage with our Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders.

Must speak English at a high level (business English) to communicate with team members from diverse cultural backgrounds.

- Banking Operation or Systems Knowledge and Experiences (as possible)

Will be able to understand the banking system structure, and high-level banking business.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation and dependencies and drive project execution from initiation to closure
• Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and accountability, ensuring strong cross functional teamwork and alignment to project goals and objectives
• Effectively communicate project progress, status and key decisions to stakeholders, including senior management, and provide regular updates on project metrics, risk and dependencies
• Own and be responsible for the successful delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, meeting requirements and within allocated budget
• Manage project lifecycle, from requirement, design, technical construction, testing, acceptance, training, documentation and implementation, in accordance with the Project Management Process and Methodology
• Work closely with Project Lead/Owner or Sponsor to drive strategic or major initiatives as part of the organization’s roadmap and strategy
• Participate in pre-project activities such as estimation of project efforts, preparation of high-level project plan with project timeline and resource requirements/staffing and organization of project team.
• Manage relationships across all departments, partners including external parties (vendor and/or outsource partners), defining requirements, agreeing terms, and ensuring delivery in accordance to agreed timeline
• Monitor and track progress of projects and stay on top of the projects to ensure smooth execution
• Analyse and highlight project risks and develop necessary risk mitigation plans.
• Analyse and highlight project dependencies to pre-empt project issues
• Maintain project issue register to keep close match of the project issues till their resolution.
• Develop, prepare, and deliver Management Information and reports regularly to support decision making
• Take accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks
• Maintain awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company
• Highlight any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices
• Main KPIs - Delivery of projects with agreed cost, scope, schedule, and outcome, and they are baselined and traceable

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent with min. 7 years of experience in IT Project Management in the financial industry
• Experience in managing the entire software development practices, various development methodologies and implementation
• Experience in managing deployment of IT infrastructure, such as systems & networks and cybersecurity solutions
• Experiences in major IT infrastructure & cybersecurity system updates, upgrades, OS hardening and migrations
• Constantly keep abreast of latest technology changes to maintain deployment and operational efficiency
• In-depth knowledge on Project Management/Business Analysis
• Possess strong leadership, capable of managing stakeholders and maintaining relationships in large scale projects
• Strong team management skills, influencing skills and collaborative team player
• Possess strong and assertive verbal, written communication and presentation skills

• Work closely with project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives

• Serve as the main point of contact in all matters related to client concerns and needs

• Monitors and controls execution phase to ensure that projects are completed on time and meets all business and system requirements
• Lead, Plan, Coordinate, Motivate and Manage Project Resources/Project Team for successful delivery of projects

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree / master’s in computer science, business, or a related field.
• Possess 4 - 6 years of project Management and related experience.
• At least 2 cycles of end-to-end implementation experience
• Project Management Professional (PMP)/PRINCE 2 certification preferred.
• Proven ability to solve problems creatively.
• Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices and willingness to adapt to new technologies to run and manage projects effectively.
• Able to deliver and conduct meetings with C levels
• Ability to multitask and juggle several responsibilities simultaneously
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• SAP experience will be preferred

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a technical environment, with a focus on data and analytics.

• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory is essential.

• Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.

• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies is a plus.

• Relevant certifications in Azure or business analysis are advantageous.

SUMMARY

Derivative product expertise, valuation understanding, scripting (Python/Excel), and financial engineering background.

Bridging business and tech, managing UAT, and proposing solutions within banking and market data understanding. Experience in BANKING DOMAIN IS MUST . Good Chinese language skills required

Requirements

• Experience of derivative product characteristic, including structure of products, valuation/pricing information associate with the products

• Knowledge with vanilla product and derivatives and understand the general market practice

• Understand the basic concept of valuation/pricing approach of vanilla and derivatives

• Knowledge in market data

• Experience with scripting language, i.e. Python or Excel Macro

• Master in Financial Engineering, Quantitative Finance or CFA .

Responsibilities

• Principle duties are collecting functional requirements from stakeholders, and able to document and explain the requirements to development and QA team

• Facilitate requirements workshops to engage the various stakeholders such as Front Office, Middle Office, Finance users to elicit and validate business requirements.

• Lead and manage issues during UAT/Sprints, and ensure all requirements have proper traceability.

• Leverage the subject matter experts in Technology & Operations in delivery of structured and well-thought through solutions.

• Become an effective “bridge” between business users and technology.

• Good team player with strong interpersonal skills.

• Respond promptly to issues raised, through good understanding of business, operational and technical considerations, and recommend sound solutions.
