The Operations project lead will be an individual contributor (with no direct reports) leading the Dyson cross functional (GSC) Global supply chain project team and manage a Joint Design Manufacturing (JDM) partnership.

The Global Purchase to Pay (P2P) organization provides P2P capabilities through a shared delivery model that supports Nike’s growth, by delivering standard, optimized and scalable processes that leverage Nike’s Managed Service Provider (MSP). The Global P2P organization is diverse, inclusive and focused on service delivery excellence through a foundation of continuous improvement.

This role will report directly to the Senior Manager Global Business Support and be responsible for the oversight of process execution performed by Nike’s MSP for the APAC (Asia Pacific) region, providing business support for the Global P2P Organization and key regional stakeholders.

This role will act as a regional focal point for our P2P organization providing strong partner engagement, regional insights and MSP performance management. The ideal candidate will need to bring an ability to maintain and manage cross functional relationships within a complex environment, driving alignment and acting as a change enabler within the assigned region. With a complex stakeholder environment, the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, building consensus and bringing collaborative energy will be required to grow and maintain trust with stakeholders.

The candidate will be able to story tell though data. Driving analysis and recommendations for process improvement opportunities, leveraging their end-to-end business acumen. They will have the ability to be an effective problem solver, with a drive for understanding the root causes of issues and developing solutions that provide long-term results. Demonstrating a track record of continuous process improvement in an operational role with an end-to-end process mindset. This experience will support Nike to identify and manage financial risk and compliance requirements while defining process optimization opportunities.

The successful candidate will need to be team oriented, curious, lead with integrity, and bring a positive mindset. The ability to manage through others, providing direction and mentorship to deliver results will be key.

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in finance or accounting, with a focus on P2P process delivery, escalation support, regional compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, accounting, supply chain or related field.
• Proven cultural acuity and ability to work across large, diverse teams
• Experience with Procurement/Payables processes, operations, and features of the software systems we use at Nike including Coupa and SAP.
• Strong interpersonal/communication skills to deal effectively with varied internal customers, stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Self-directed and comfortable working in ambiguous environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

You’ll be working alongside your colleagues in Purchasing and Invoice to Pay operations to provide regional oversight and business support for our service delivery within the APAC region. Partnering with our MSP, regional and global stakeholders to drive alignment and effective change management as the global organisation continues to standardize and optimize processes and systems ensuring that regional variations and regulatory considerations are understood and considered.

• You will provide enhanced business support for Global P2P operations and our cross functional partners. Acting as the conduit between P2P, Procurement, Controlling, Treasury and local business units for complex problem-solving representing P2P within the region.
• Collaborate with the MSP’s Global and Geo Leads on multiple service delivery activities that require regional insight. Partnering to ensure effective problem resolution, leveraging analytical insights to drive performance.
• Provide operational oversight, training and education to develop the MSP team acumen and build towards a global standard P2P support model.
• Participate in localized business support projects, by staying at the forefront of changes to standards and regulations within the Geo, providing localization recommendations for P2P.
• You will own and drive escalated incidents and issues to resolution, including advanced troubleshooting ensuring effective root causing and recommendations for process improvements where appropriate.
• Evaluate process improvement opportunities and partner with GPO (Global Process Owner) to build global standards. Act as a local champion for Global P2P Policies and Procedures.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with GEO business leaders, Territory Controllers, Nike Suppliers and business partners, educating them on P2P processes when necessary and identifying opportunities for training in their respective organization.support process control oversight and internal and external audit investigations.

Job Description

• Project support: Oversee and support project management activities, including planning, timeline monitoring, and budget tracking, to ensure timely completion of projects for regulatory submissions.
• Project monitoring: Track and report project status to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring deadlines are met for ongoing projects. Provide expert CMC support while monitoring CMO/CDMO activities.
• Documentation management: Manage and maintain project documentation, including protocols, reports, SOPs, and meeting minutes. Facilitate the collection of information from both internal and external stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Stakeholder management: Coordinate external collaborations, including managing agreements and overseeing the quality of deliverables. Monitor activities of CMOs, CDMOs, and other partners.
• Sample and logistics coordination: Handle project logistics, including sample shipment and drug sourcing.
• Regulatory support: Assist in drafting the Quality Section of dossiers for clinical trial and marketing authorization applications, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and agency expectations.
• CMC support: Offer strategic guidance to technical teams on CMC regulatory requirements and engage in negotiations to resolve CMC-related issues.
• Others: Perform other duties as assigned by leadership

Job Requirements

• MSc, or BSc in life science/ chemistry
• Experience with office management software like MS office (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint) and other project management software
• Strong management and organization skills, attention to details, good written and verbal communication skills
• Superior time-management skill, able to multitask and quickly adapt to dynamic changes
• Knowledge in drug development process and technical/ scientific knowledge.
