ABOUT OUR ROLES
Global Banking & Markets New Business Group (GM NBG): is a part of the Client Experience organization within the Operations division. The team is responsible for managing onboarding mandates and ensure requests are project managed and completed by expected launch date. The team works closely with clients and internal teams, which includes Sales, Credit, Client Onboarding, Trading Documentation Group, Compliance and Legal. The goal is to create efficiencies in the onboarding process, increase throughput and provide exceptional client experience.
HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
GM NBG works very closely with Sales and multiple internal groups including Legal, Credit Risk Management and Operations to ensure clients are set up to trade with GS.
GM NBG Responsibilities:
- Work with Sales to prioritize onboarding requests
- Drive the documentation and account opening processes for clients from initiation to completion
- Serve as point person for clients in the onboarding process
- Liaise with internal stakeholders including Legal, Credit Risk Management, Counterparty Risk and Operations
- Provide transparency to Sales and clients on onboarding status
- Act as initial escalation point for clients and internal groups for issues/bottlenecks in the onboarding process
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR
The Ideal candidate for this position will have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent
- Experience in pre-trade / onboarding functions
- Business to native level in Mandarin to cover different markets and engage with clients in China and Taiwan. The language skills is required to manage the onboarding mandates and drive the documentation and account opening process of clients based in China and Taiwan

- Business and Regulatory Focus ā to be able to build different jurisdictional regulatory, and product specific requirements in regards in pre-execution space
