They are one of the largest global producers of semiconductor products where the products are used in a wide range of applications, including personal computers, smartphones, tablets, servers, automotive systems, and various other electronic devices.
Job Requirements:
â—Ź Project Supervision: Supervise & Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and subcontractors, ensuring tasks are completed on time.
â—Ź Scheduling: Monitor project schedules, resolve issues, and adjust timelines as needed.
â—Ź Drawings & Design: Guide drafters in creating detailed mechanical and piping installation plans
â—Ź Procurement & Tendering: Assist Project Manager / Procurement team in preparing tender documents, procurement specifications, and sourcing materials.
â—Ź Reporting: Prepare regular project status reports and attend meetings to provide updates / trends.
â—Ź Vendor Coordination: Manage vendors during equipment commissioning and testing.
â—Ź Budgeting: Assist in preparing project budgets (CAPEX) and cost estimations & allocation.
â—Ź Safety Compliance:
- Ensure safety protocols are followed, issue work permits, and conduct toolbox meetings. - Maintains site safe condition and clean working environment by enforcing internal procedures, rules, and regulations. - Maintains product and company reputation by complying with state and company policy and regulations.
Requirements:
â—Ź Graduate of Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Mechanical or equivalent engineering education.
â—Ź Physically fit to work at a construction site as project engineer.
â—Ź At least 2 to 5 yrs experience working on site installation coordination and project supervision in following areas:
1. Working at process/equipment construction site, plant installation, EPC, or equivalent.
2. Providing inputs in technical design and technical document preparation.
3. Piping installation, Equipment installation, pipe routing.
4. Ability to read, understand & demonstrate the P&ID and PFD drawings to site work.
5. Proficient to read and understand engineering plan drawings like piping and pipe support plan, equipment layout mechanical installation plan.
6. Able to understand Fire Fighting and Alarm systems.
7. Proficient with Microsoft office application and Microsoft project or equivalent and familiar with Google doc
8. Familiar with Singapore and international codes /Regulations related piping, construction
Able to work independently and less supervision required. Salary commensurate with experience.
