The Asset & Wealth Management Strategic Transformation Office is a recently established entity tasked with overseeing comprehensive large-scale transformations. Our primary objectives are to enhance scalability, drive revenue growth, improve client experience, and elevate controls to optimize our operating platform. The AWM Regulatory Management team manages the regulatory strategy and roadmap for the AWM business globally. As the key business partner for regulatory matters, the team is responsible for: 1) Regulatory Solutions; assessing the impact of regulations on business activities and 2) Regulatory Controls; ensuring a robust control framework is in place to evidence compliance.

Regulatory Solutions represent the views of the business on regulatory change governance forums and act as co-sponsors of new regulations. The team is responsible for performing detailed assessments on new regulations, identifying the impact on existing AWM capabilities and supporting the design of appropriate solutions to deliver regulatory requirements. The team also supports the launch of new products, funds or trading activity by advising on current live and new upcoming regulatory considerations.

· Build a deep understanding of the Asset and Wealth Management business through analyzing the applicability and impact of regulatory policies and rules to each business area (new regulations and new business activities)

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR

· Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in management consulting or related field in financial services with active involvement in new regulation assessments and implementations

· Understanding of asset management products (closed/open funds, traditional and alternatives products), and the wider asset management operating model and ecosystems

· Demonstrated proficiency in working as part of business or regulatory function owning the regulatory strategy, roadmap, analysis and interpretation of new regulations for the business

Incident Management

• Lead investigation and resolution of incident
• Conduct root cause analysis and recommend improvement solution for recurrent incident to Client

IT Security Management

• Schedule security scan for identified systems according to policies and verify all vulnerability rectifications are satisfactorily performed.
• Conduct Security Review on System Access and administration patterns weekly, and report unusual or suspicious activities, if any, to SMO Head Office.
• Track, mitigate and deploy patch security vulnerabilities accordingly to the stipulated timeline. Maintain oversight and submit reports on monthly basis.
• Escalate and/or seek Client’s acceptance and approval of assessed risks.

IT Security Compliance & QA Management

• Ensure compliance status of the Systems adheres to applicable standards, polices, directives and guidelines.
• Declare, review and report compliance status to SMO head office annually.
• During audit exercise, work with stakeholders to provide responses and evidence to auditors or compliance related declarations.
• Provide a Rectification Plan on any gaps found.
• Provide rectification plan for issues arising from audit.
• Seek waiver on compliance whenever it is justifiable.

The ideal profile should have / be:

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and establish the Portfolio strategy for its goals, objectives and strategies in alignment with the bank's business priorities.
• Create a business plan and drive efforts towards achieving set goals.
• Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and a Balanced Scorecard and assess performance against established targets.

Job Requirements

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Science, Commerce, Business Administration, Banking and Finance or equivalent
• Minimum 7 years of working experience within the financial industry or banking industry, preferably in the Technology department.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience as Project Manager with proven hands-on experience in managing and delivering projects.
• Experience in managing CAPEX and OPEX.
• In-depth understanding of project and system development lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of Banking Technology function and experienced in working with virtual teams in the Asia Pacific region.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all regulatory licensing (e.g. lift operating permit, fire certificate etc) are submitted and renewed in a timely manner.
• Carry out routine inspection to look out for building defects and mechanical & electrical faults. Coordinate or administer works to ensure all faults and defects are attended to and rectified. Ensure scheduled maintenances are also carried out accordingly. Maintain and upkeep records for routine and ad hoc works carried out.
• Verify that the FM work was carried out appropriately before approving payment to contractors.
• Manage the Visitor Management System to ensure proper access control is done to facilitate staff
• Coordinate Resource booking of facilities and make necessary arrangement for preparations of venue for meetings and events according to schedule.
• Utilities tracking and monitoring and tracking of usage
• Manage car parking including collation of parking usages for recovery of car parking charges.
• Working closely with appointed Fire Safety Manager (FSM) to manage all fire safety matters of premises. Attend to all fire alarm activations, identifying the cause with follow up reporting on a timely manner.
• Executing various Green initiatives for building and maintaining premises to meet Green Mark standards (e.g. indoor air quality, utilities usage monitoring and recycling).
• Perform procurement function, i.e. establishing needs, sourcing, delivery and payment, as needed under facilities management.

Requirements

• Min. 2 years of relevant working experience in facility management is preferred
• Certified Fire Safety Manager will be an added advantage.
• A hands-on person who has knowledge of basic handyman work (eg. changing of lightings, troubleshooting electrical appliances, putting up of festive decorations, housekeeping etc.) and enthusiasm to be on the ground.
• Able to communicate and collaborate effectively with contractors/ vendors, as well as all office staff.
• Strong time management skills, able to take challenges and feedback in stride and develop improvements.
• Good people skills, team player and a keen learner.
