Development of Web3 Strategy within the Region

• As an early founding member, build non-Japan business models with focus on Asia.
• Develop hypotheses and validate market entry through research on Blockchain/Web3 in the local region.

Strategic Formulation and Execution of Business Models

• Experiment with business hypotheses and acquire initial customers.
• Collaborate with colleagues in Japan and establish partnerships, including external alliances.
• Formulate and implement project/business plans.

Establishment of Business Operations Structure

• Manage startup operations and plan back-office operations, including hiring.
• Build a team with long-term growth orientation.
• Consulting sales of Web 3 products/services under development in the company to business clients within the region

Requirement:

• Experience in business development within the technology sector.
• Experience in Web3/Crypto (Business experience is preferred. However, individual experience in using blockchain and cryptocurrencies is also acceptable.)
• Experience in developing and establishing global businesses, including customer acquisition and sourcing partners to meet customers’ requirement.

Key Responsibilities:

General

• Identify, assess, and prioritize all installation, upgrade, and maintenance jobs in the APAC locations
• Manage allocation of engineer resources
• Report status of completed and planned installations and preventive maintenance and remote health check and repairs to Team Lead
• Ensure safety and quality control of work performed
• Report/escalate any issues to line manager
• Installation and Services JobsActively plan remote health checks and preventive maintenance in the region with custome
• Obtain PO for the job where applicable
• Dispatch Engineer when needed
• Manage travel arrangements where applicable
• Check that documentation is updated by engineers after services are completed
• Arrange follow up service if required

Dimensions:

• Achieve installation/upgrade/preventive maintenance/remote health checks target
• Monitor and keep project documents up to date
• Maintain PULSE and SAP and service now
• Optimize project process and work flow
• Ensure that all projects are delivered successfully
• Provide regular report to Head of Service Delivery

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

• Technical qualification at Diploma level or Bachelor level
• Lack of education can be replaced by relevant experience
• Technical knowledge with understanding and/or hands-on experience in IT or Telecommunication.
• Technical knowledge with understanding and/or hands-on experience in technical drawings like Visio or AutoCAD
• Project management experience from marine related industry or similar
• 3-5 years’ relevant experience within technical resource coordination
